I just woke up and checked my email and I thought they're asking me to resend all my documents because I didn't write the beneficiary's name and case # at the upper right hand of my docs. And I was thinking that is so ridiculous if they expect me to wait for another 20 days just because I forgot to write that! Lol!

You will be case complete soon apple21! ???

Actually, you may (or not) get a checklist for that. We don't have to write the name, just the case# on the upper right corner of the civil docs.

Name, case# and DOB at the back of the visa photos.

I know so I called NVC right away and they said everything is fine. Now, you got me worried. ? I'll call them back tomorrow just to be sure. I wrote the case # on the IV docs and pics too. I can't remember if I did on my AOS.

That's fine as long as its written on the civil docs and visa pics. No need to write the case# on the AOS package.

Hi Tinjf10, did you check with the NVC? Does the current status mean you are case complete?

@Apple21 - good luck for CC. You are almost at the end of the stipulated wait time.

Not yet. They said my AOS was fine. I'm still waiting for my DS230 to be accepted because I sent them separately.

Finally IV approved - took all the 4 weeks to get it approved though - now I have to wait another 4 more weeks for my case to be completed :'( b/c of the stupid AOS checklist that they just entered into the system yesterday :( - but at least 1 done 1 to go!

Welcome to the Club :) - I got a checklist as well for a totally needless thing I have 17 more business days for my review to go about 3 and 1/2 weeks - was not expecting this at all - but I have now realized one thing - no point in stressing over it or trying to predict when and how things will happen - just do it and forget it move on with your life - no point in stressing over it really - suddenly one day you will be surprised how it happened so fast!
