i sent the documents with my ds 230.. den i got a checklist with sum corrections in AOS and was asked to complete ds 260.. so i did that and sent the AOS checklist.. now ive gotten the above checklist.. wot duz it mean?

Have you completed the 20 or 30-day waiting period after sending response to your AOS checklist? This could not be your second AOS checklist surely. You posted about receiving checklist very recently. What is the information they have asked in this checklist in the AOS section? You should be submitting corrected/complete responses to the questions in the checklist.

now that's the reason why those who are scheduled for october 2 interviews were notified by the embassies to re schedule their interview bec the agency will be close on that day..now we know it's bec of the government shutdown that might happen on october 1. makes sense.

I'm not saying that a govt shutdown won't happen but every year since 2011 ( I think) the GOP has been "threatening " and proposing a govt shutdown. You will always hear this around this time of the year. It's not good

for the economy. It's all politics .

last aug 26 i send my aos docs thru mail until now they dont even send me an email to confirm if they have it already...and my wife file her ds261 last sept, iv invoice fee im stii waiting too....takes too long!!!!

they do not send any email that they have received our AOS or civil documents. we have to call NVC and check whether they have received documents and whether they have entered them into the system.

I read in another forum that interviews scheduled on October 2 in the US embassy in Manlia are rescheduled.

But I agree, lets focus on case completion first and hope the the shutdown will hasten our NVC process.
