It says on the email what the checklist is for. It has a pdf file attachment with it.

We have reviewed the documents which you submitted in support of an application for an immigrant
visa. Please review the information listed under each applicant's name and provide any documents
which are indicated as missing or need additional information. You must submit the required
information. Failure to provide the requested information will delay your immigrant visa interview.
They said the I-864 was not dated and also requested to know why my husband had filed for an extension on his tax's.
So would thi smean this checklist is just for the first process of the forms and we could get another in time ?

Usually they only give out one checklist for AOS or IV package or you can get checklists for both. If you responded well on that, then you'll be case complete.

But there are some who got 2 checklists, it depends on the person reviewing your case file, on how you filled out the forms and if you submitted all the required AOS and civil documents.

Some people get case complete then they receive a checklist telling them to bring corrected forms or documents on the day of their interview.

Ok ty Apple. Our attorney said she had filled the forms out correctly as they had always filled peoples out the same - when she seen what they wanted she telephoned nvc and spoke to a supervisor and told them what they requsted was in the original forms and NOT missing or even filled out wrongly.

So i guess if you ask me they are just stalling for time on some peoples cases but hey ho lets pray they dont send another checklist.

Yes they was sent all the IV documents , and then the DS260 so i am presuming it is all those under review and that is why they sent checklist . So now i pray for CC as we all are smile.png AND it is always on a Thursday they seem to let us know something too so who knows maybe tomorrow they may tell us something else. :)

Yes, that's the email I received too but it could also mean checklist for the IV package (DS230/DS260/civil documents).

Doesn't matter if its AOS or IV checklist because the review timeframe is just the same (20-30 business days).

hi apple! did you received an email for the IV acceptance because i only got the AOS checklist email from the NVC which didn't mentioned that IV was reviewed and accepted. is that okay? cause i can see some who got emails bout their IV's being accepted apart from the AOS checklist.

This is what my checklist email says:

We have reviewed the documents which you submitted in support of an application for an immigrant

visa. Please review the information listed under each applicant's name and provide any documents

which are indicated as missing or need additional information. You must submit the required

information. Failure to provide the requested information will delay your immigrant visa interview.

Please read the enclosed information to determine where to send all required copies of missing

documents. If you have any questions regarding this letter, please call the National Visa Center at (603)

334-0700 between the hours of 7:30am and midnight ET.

Please include a copy of this letter with your correspondence and write your case number clearly (exactly

as it appears below) on the upper right-hand corner of all documents.

From the date you mail or transmit the requested information, please allow 20 business days for NVC to

review this documentation/your mail. When we complete our review, the NVC will notify

you/petitioner/beneficiary/attorney with information regarding the next processing step.

The pdf file attachment specifically asked for the AOS documents (i864a).

I called NVC and they verbally confirmed that they have already accepted my IV package. They did not send a separate email for the acceptance of the IV package.

I had a checklist for my ds230 that's why I submitted the ds260. They already have my civil docs entered into their system when they reviewed my ds230. So I'm just assuming that I will begin counting from the day I submited my ds260 since they already have the civil docs in their system.
