Does NVC has to enter the DS260 in their system since it's online? Or can I start counting from the day I submitted the DS260?

You have to start counting since the day your IV docs are registered on the system. No matter if you have already submitted your ds260, they need to have your civil docs in order to start checking your ds260, and that takes between 4 and 6 weeks now.

Unfortunatly i dont have a Android phone /tablet just my laptop and i pad . but my husband rings them form USA and he said it costs a fortune to ring them too. Gosh this whole thing has cost us thousands - i wish we had never used an attorney , but at the time i never knew this site existed, since i have known i would assure people to come here rather than pay them lol.

Thank you so much for your replies.

The best way to call for free is to call from a GMAIL account. If your husband is in the USA he can make free phone calls from Gmail, but he has to download the phone call plug in (search it on Google). If you are not in the USA you have to download this program called Hotspot Shield which let your computer appear like you were in the United States. Believe me, the quality of the call is perfect, I always use it and I've never wasted a cent.

I called today, it is my 19th business day of my AOS checklist. Lady told me my case was completed on Sept 13 and they will inform us when Islamabad schedules an interview for my wife :)

Now hoping I get the letter this month rather than next :P

Javeria this is a lot of stuff, make sure when you send it again it should be perfect to what they want.

If you need any help, send me a private message and I will try and explain the things that you need to do. In my form I just missed one thing and they delayed it 1 month - hope you don't have to go through another delay.

19, when they entered my docs and gorms into their system!!!

Best thing to do in this case is call them and ask them to make sure. You want to do exactly what they tell you to do, not even one inch left or right. If they tell you to do something that you think doesn't make sense, don't care about whether it makes sense to you or not just do it.

Also try calling them 2-3 different times and ask the same question from different people, if they give you the same answer pretty much, then do what they told you and re-submit.

13a. 2012 and put down the amount

13b. and 13c. I would put the year and put down $0.00 and also on a separate piece of paper write out a statement stating that you did not earn any income during the years 2010 and 2011 for whatever reason that you have and that is why you did not file any taxes for that year and that you don't owe any taxes for those years.

Whether or not to click on the box on question 13 on the previous page of the form, you have to call NVC and explain to them and ask them b/c to me it looks very confusing. That box states You have filed for each of the 3 years but are only including the return for the most recent year. So in your case I don't know what you will check on that or leave it unchecked.
