Im waiting for my iv processing fee invoice its been 5 days now after sending my ds261....!!!in their system is not yet available, is there any possible that i can pay now?

You cannot pay ahead.

It will take 10-20 business days for NVC to accept your Choice of Agent. When they have accepted your COA, they will generate your IV fee invoice.

the next day that we completed the case, we received a checklist, that my husband should bring to the interview. at least there will be no delay.

It said:

In Part 3, Information on the Immigrant(s) You are sponsoring, please correct the following...

[x] Item 7. The total number of immigrants listed in Item 7 must equal the number of immigrants listed in Part 3, Items 1 through 6.f. In addition, you must also verify that the total number of immigrants listed in Item 7 matches the number you entered in Part 5 Item1.

Was it your second checklist for AOS? We also got checklist next day our case was complete, but it was second checklist for AOS (they requested N/A to be put where applicable).

Yes , was the second checklist for aos. I'Ll fill it again.

It seems that they don't request second checklist to be sent to NVC nowadays. That's definitely good. Thanks for sharing!

It says if the answer is none or N/a, leave it blank. And now, why are they sending checklists for us to put n/a?

Seems like many people are getting checklist for AOS. Now i am confused should i leave blank or should i write N/A wherever its not applied to me on I 864 form.

Well I 864 instruction page says leave blank where not applicable.

Very Confusing.

Don't forget to mail in the form because the embassy would require that it has the petitioner's and/or joint sponsor's original signature/s.

Thanks apple21. You're in right!

I'll prepare the entire package that I sent to NVC, and will send it by fedex to my husband, to prevent more mistakes.

Thanks again

No problem. Our cousin (F2B) got 221g for i864 because her mother (petitioner) just scanned and emailed it to her.

My problem was really weird - I didn't have any income in 2012 so I said that on a separate piece of paper and left the most recent year area blank on the form. So I got a checklist - I spoke to them they said just send us a document again stating that you didn't earn any income for your reason and that's why you didn't file any taxes for 2012. So I did that and I also to be sure filed an empty tax return meaning I filed a 2012 tax return with 0,00 as my income and then sent that tax return transcript to them as well as the document explaining that I didn't have any income for 2012.

So I did all that but I didn't re-send the form. Now that I'm looking at the form I think I should have entered 2012 on there and put $0.00 but at that time I didn't really think about that. So I hope they don't checklist me again or at least case complete me and then let me send them another form.

I am really frustrated with this entire process. :(

dont leave anything blank

the first thing they look is empty info

and tehy dont care about the rest

its an easy checklist to buy them time

and to screw you up

learned it the hard way

mine was through a lawyer revised like a thousand times

The petitioner needs to fill out I864 again for the beneficiary's copy? Along with the w2 and ITR for 3yrs?

No. Only if you have the same case as Atelar who was asked to bring a new i864 at the interview.
