no the world is fair

the system sucks totally different

we were promised immigration reforms that was not delivered

THe NVC reached a state that they put my senate enquiry in the trash

a month now they didn't reply to him

doesnt work enquiries so dont count on that

so left the hous reprsentatives as last resort

im left with nothing

the whole sytem stinks

would have it been either on those guys

to just put 5 employees at the mail rroom sorting the mail out based on the priority dates not based on which date Fedex delivered the packages

its not about phone operators and about officers its about stupidity

they tried to make everybody happy by just opening the date to be current to everybody but what they did that they make things worse

yes open all dates

but start looking one at a time to those older applications

security checks backgrounds shouldnt affect the dates they send you case complete it may affect only your interview dates based on availabilty and how much embassies abroad are booked

i look at my embassy website and i see visa numbers that are after mine scheduled for interviews already in August so how did they get there before mine

again embassy time isnt the answer that this system stinks

Look at the visa bulletin historical data http://www.travel.state.gov/pdf/Cut-off_Dates_worldwide_online.pdf, it was 6! years waiting time in 2007 and 2008.

My acquaintance were immigrating around that time, and they waited for 4 full years until husband became citizen.

It was much worse before.

@Nobrains, can you give a link where you check who is scheduled? I think all embassy web sites are typical, but I can't see such data on mine.

Theoretically, I think those people who had their documents submitted before Sept 1 when there was a 20 day wait, are ahead of the line compared to those who sent it after. So perhaps for those who sent it in before Sept 1 the real wait might be like 20 days +5 rather than +10 :P We will have to see about that though when they get back to us I guess!

Shabberra

with all the incompetence madness at NVC

ddo you think this will be valid ?

im not putting you down

take this a step further

some who applied after september will be done collectively faster than those who did the paper part

because the online review is faster

its a closed loop haha

The only info that is available there is next available date for an interview to be scheduled and it's few days away from today. Probably mine doesn't disclose such info.

Can you share one such link - the Islamabad embassy doesn't have such a link or I can't find it.

My PD is April 3, 2012 - I am pretty confident that I should still be able to make the new priority date even after the retrogression. I don't think they will go all the way back to 2011!

Shtu

look at your NVC number

go to the website of your embassy

if they have a link to scheduling a visa they usually post the visa numbers to be interviewed in that month

look at the numbers you will be amazed

I go to http://www.ustraveldocs.com/

Then choose my location and click "Apply now". Somewhere on the left part there should be next available date.

they can do whatever they like

so it depends how many applied for the visa ?

did they reach the quota for the fiscal year 2013 or not

so as i told you if they use visas number from 2014 April maybe a safe date if they don't myself November 4th 2011 may miss it by a month or 2

there are thousands who applied already the final count wil determine the new date

but im optimistic because as you said 2011 is tow far away from 2014 it was 2 years gap so my estimate will be early to mid 2012 this is the norm

again its all speculations

they left us hopeless praying hoping willing estimating guessing i hate this

the fiscal years start October first

haha its like a jail sytem

you have to finish your sentence

sometimes you go on bail

or aon parroll

or even by pardon

but still you have to spend your time in the immigration correction facility

and all your fault is you respect the law

when i see some here illegal immigrants that overstay their visas get married and settle down adjust their statuses or those on h or f visas with their dependants and i lokk at myself i feel sorry i say to myself if i met and married the love of my life while still on h1B would ahve been better
