Yes, after aos, you have to wait for your iv invoice, but first, they have to accept your choice of agent, which usually takes 3 weeks to get accepted. I sent choice of agent thru email last auust 26 and have not heard from nvc up to now. I also filled up ds261 online last sept 3 and, still, no response yet. When did you send your choice of agent?

we submitted the necessary forms and payments already and we are just waiting for the CC. Today marks 13 business days.

In my case, my ds3032 was accepted in 8 calendar days. But the normal way is from 5 to 10 bussiness day.

Bottom line is - you never know when 30 days come about they will say 40 days - etc etc etc :'( its not in our control

I am specting complete my case this next week. I have been waiting 3 weeks already, since I submitted my dcs on august 19 th ( on their system). So I hope get my cc next week, we'll see.

but i got a checklist after a month of review now at teh end of my second 20 buisness day on day 19th

they said to me its 30 buisness days

we are not voters we are green card holder so they dont give a dirt sending our petitions to long wait while they finish their citizens part

i was sent back for leaving the state part bank i dont ahve states in my country

yes i agree after 30 business days will be 40

my priority date is november 2011

and i see 2012 and soon 2013 will have their interviews dates

no offense

i wish they didnt open the fuckin priority date to everybody

i wish i would have been in the regular 2-3 years old processing time at least i m not subjected to the incompetence at NVC

if you check other forums for fiancee and citizens things are moving fast so fast

the best part im not away from my citizen

and tehy called it immigration reforms and they make everybody happy by opening the priority date to all C

but when you truly look at it they will put obstacles fake RFE fake checklist so yu will end up waiting the same period of time of the normal regular processing

its a fraud making eveybody happy but burreaucracy still is the winner they will do it their ways Rude phone operators at NVC i m fed up pending my entire life on skype and to an idiot when i call hm saying 30 buisiness days

Well I can apply for citizenship starting Nov 25 of this year I will become eligible Feb 23 of next year. Looking at the speed of which things are going I think I am going to go ahead and apply just to be safe.

Problem is people who voted for Odrama and believed in the Yes we can ####### now should realize it was just a publicity stunt to get into office - he has done virtually nothing on immigration reform that didn't need any legislation at all like improving the USCIS, NVC, and speeding up all of these applications.

I don't get the logic of allowing H1 and F1 visa people to bring their spouses and children to live with them along with them while we have to wait for such a long time. Most of the H1 and F1 people who come here are getting their green cards while they are here as well.

Thats the whole thing - I mean I just don't get the logic behind it - I don't see how they benefit from it. They can ask us to pay some extra fees like few thousands bucks sure we can manage that, they can give them temp visas and restrict them not to work until their green card comes, but just let them live with us.

The Odrama immigration reform is supposed to (that's if it passes at all) make the F2A category into an immediate relative category so no more priority date #######, but then again they can delay it at the USCIS level anytime they want. Also, I don't get why he couldn't have passed different legislation - why lump all of it into one? Everyone knew it wouldn't be easy to tackle illegal immigration reform so why jumble that with legal immigration reform? It just boggles the minds, its either a) he really doesn't give a ####### n doesn't want to do anything about it or b) he really doesn't understand this subject at all

i guess he doesnt understand it neither hsi administration he was just getting more votes to win in the swing states i agree he did nothing on improvement

they dont get it it that green card holders are law abiding citizens to be that didnt break the law yet they are treated in their family wellbeing worst than the one that broke the laws

yes great ideas handing the visas like all others pending adjusting status

is it constitutional or even legal that when all the priority dates become current some petitioners benefited from this and others didnt ?

lrets say my priority date is in 2009 and im still at NVC processing

and lets ay that someone priority date 2013 and he got his interview already

will this constitute a fraud ?

especially if they retrogress one more time and some would have got away with their visas in hand ?

assoon as the number of visas are granted we are back to th eold waiting times but still some may have cheated the system and get away with that

is teh NVC being Neutral in what they doing ? holding some and facilitating some'

im pissed off at teh whole thing unfair and if my predictions of early retrogression happens we are back to ground zero and others whould have got their visas unlawfully earlier than us

what they are doing especially on old priority dates like mine and others is just illegal

and getting a visa number isnt getting the vISA itself if they retrogress now and your old priority date wont be current you stil lhave to wait and we dont know how long at teh same time others will be at their port of entry some of them with recent priority date than ours
