You need to send your marriage certificate accompanied by its translation if not in English. So it doesn't really matter how early you send it. Send it immediately BUT there is one thing that I can recall now.

At the time, we called them and we asked something similar and the only thing they said was that "Your marriage should be consummated" rofl.gif . Seriously. I'm gonna refer you to Wikipedia Consummation to read for yourself. But this is normally asked to avoid any Proxy marriage. So if you guys are getting married where you are both present and spend some time together afterward, then there should be no problem at all.

It's just a matter of days at the end. Good luck.

USCIS said that? seriously? rofl.gif really appreciate the information though.

Got another question for all. My soon to be wife doesn't work in the US yet. She's still reviewing for a licensure exam she'll be taking there. Would that be an issue with regard to having a financial sponsor?

Just provide a letter explaining why your wife's income is low and why she doesn't go to work. Make sure that your sponsor's income is above the poverty guidelines. Provide all the necessary documents needed for proof of relationship etc. not to have a checklist. Goodluck! :)

After u got CC when is the status change in CEAC?

After u got CC when is the status change in CEAC?

It will still show "at NVC".

It will change in a few days or week AFTER you receive your interview letter, then it will say "in transit".

Once it arrives at your embassy, it will show "ready".
