Yes I have already filled it. So I guess only the appointment letter is sufficient. But in the packet 4 they mentioned about ds 260 form, it made me confused.

No. You need to take the confirmation page of your DS 260. Login here https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx and click on "Print Confirmation" to print your DS260 confirmation. I would suggest to also Print DS260 form and keep it with you just in case.

  2. Obtain and submit photographs that meet the Department of State’s visa requirements.
  3. Review the information specific to U.S. Embassy/Consulate General where your visa interview will occur.
If you have not already collected and submitted the required documents to the National Visa Center then you should do so at this time. If the documentation you have submitted is either insufficient or incomplete you will be notified by the NVC. Your visa interview cannot be scheduled until your supporting documentation is complete and correct.

Note: During the interview with a consular officer, you will be required to sign your application by providing a biometric signature, i.e. your fingerprint. Ok thanks. Seems impossible to print the online filled form, the confirmation page will do. If it was a paper based like earlier i would have kept the copy, since its online il just take the confirmation page with me.

No, you can print the filled form as well. Do you see the option "Print Form-DS260"? Click on that button and you should be able to print the filled form. I did that and worked.

Did you receive IIN as well? If so, login to https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx using your NVC case number and IIN, fill out DS-261. Pay the fees when they are available.

In either case, you need start preparing for the documents and forms that you need to submit to NVC.

No, we didn't receive the IIN...

Where do I find a list of the documents we need to submit? For the time being, on what they sent us it just says we have to wait for further instructions...

hi guys i just completed dec 26 thru nvc call. but until now i didnt receive confirmation thru email? why? anyone know in the same boat? :( I'm trying to call nvc today but i cant reached! :(

2013-11-07: IV Fee status changed to PAID & sent DS-260.

2013-11-18: AOS Docs & IV docs sent together thru DHL

2013-11-20: NVC received the AOS and IV documents.

2013-11-21: NVC confirmed that they received the documents

  • 2013-10-30: AOS Shows as "Paid"
  • 2013-11-01: Mailed i864 docs
  • 2013-11-01: IV fee available and paid
  • 2013-11-01: AOS Docs received at NVC ( Based on USPS tracking )
  • 2013-11-04 IV Supporting Docs mailed ( IV payment still shows as IN PROCESS...but moneys already withdrawn from account)
