Hi,

I got an email from NVC stating that i need to send original birth certificate for my Son.

I have sent the Original Birth Certificates or my Wife and Son (Which look the same format wise, because that's the form our State Govt uses for providing birth certificates). Not sure why they accepted my wife's birth certificate but not my son's !!!

Now getting another copy of the original from India will delay the process !!

Any suggestions please..

Hello Friends !!!

My Husband had his Interview on Dec 9th At Mumbai Consulate. Approved and Visa stamped on the same day.

We picked it up from Bangalore VFS Office on Wednesday 12th Dec.

He is On the flight Traveling and will be here in few hours. POE : Miami 17th Dec

Question dear friends. Is the interview letter emailed to us or its sent via snaail mail? Please reply. Thank you!

in my hubby's case (F2B) the IL was emailed to us 1st week of January 2013 ( his interview was Feb 3rd week). We actually did not receive any snail mail......

almost case completed if not with the slightest mistake I've made, now I have to resend the i-864a another month of agony of waiting lol

How did you confirm your checklist?

April 2, 2013 = Priority Date

Aug. 21, 2013 = Approval (NOA2)

Oct. 10, 2013 = Case received at NVC

Oct. 15, 2013 = Case Number & IIN received via mail

Oct. 19, 2013 = DS-261 agent of choice completed

Oct. 21, 2013 = AOS Fee Bill received & Paid

Oct. 29, 2013 = IV Fee Bill received and Paid

Nov. 06, 2013 = AOS entered into system for review

Nov. 20, 2013 = DS-260 completed

Nov. 27, 2013 = IV documents entered into system for review

Dec. 02, 2013 = AOS Checklist received

Dec.10, 2013 = AOS Checklist Response entered into system for review

Dec.20, 2013 = IV Packet accepted

Jan.02, 2014 = Case Completed

Feb. 11,13-14, 2014 = Medical Examination at St. Lukes

Mar. 04, 2014 = Rescheduled Interview (originally Mar.18, 2014) VISA APPROVED!!!!

Mar. 08, 2014 = VISA ONHAND!!!

Mar. 12, 2014 = Pre-departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS)

Mar. 21, 2014 = POE (LAX)

Apr. 27, 2014 = GC received

May 15, 2014 = re-apply for SSN

May 21, 2014 = SSN received
