That's why I CALLED NVC. And the lady said I have to submit it. Gosh.

Call tomorrow maybe it will be different. ? That's what I did when they emailed me that I have a checklist on my AOS. I'm frustrated too with our IV docs. We have to wait for a month again. ?

I wasn't aware of the DS260 until now so Maybe I need to send that since they said I forgot to print "Present" on the address along with the Police cert. I have to call them in the morning to verify

I received an email from NVC 2 hours ago. My ds230 and civil documents are accepted and nothing states there that I have to submit ds260.

Just completed ds260. The confirmation said that it would take 3-5 business days to process

Haha No problems - I am sure we will all require a visit to the Psychiatrist after we get through with this process LOL

They should hire some on staff for us at the NVC

My IV package is already accepted, as confirmed by the NVC representative. The only checklist I received is for the AOS.

I'm sorry for blurting out. This is so frustrating. I am merely sharing what I found out today. If you guys don't want to believe me, that's perfectly OKAY.

one of my friend that she is case complete in f4 visa, already has been case completed for 1 year.

i ask her to try online account and finally yes!

that message about ds260 appeared for her too !

so i guess it can tell us every case weather complete or not can fill ds260 right now and it seems that it should be a bug until they will give us any instruction or checklist ...

No. That is my IV checklist really. My AOS is still under review since i got a checklist last aug 27

Guys i just called nvc they said I don't have to fill up ds260 because my IV documents and ds230 is already accepted and it is just a new policy so I am not part of it.

You just have to fill up ds260 if you got checklist in your ds230

I called NVC to check about DS260 and the rep said what matches with Omnia's post. This is what the rep said:

1. if we need to submit our DS230 for the first time after Sep 1, 2013, we have to send the DS260 online now and no hard copy DS230 anymore

2. if we receive a checklist for our previously submitted DS230 hardcopy, then we need to submit DS260 online (which means even if we sent hardcopy DS230 earlier, due to the checklist, it becomes null and void and hence submission of DS260 is needed).

He was also clear that AOS and DS260 are not related.

So, for all of us who have submitted DS230 hard copy before Sep 1, 2013 and do not receive any checklist FOR IV, I understand we are good without the online submission.

As apple said, I logged onto the ceac site just now and see that the DS260 is accessible to me too. However, as suggested by Shabbera, I would like to wait for an email before filling it (I will call the NVC once today again to check that, will post response after that).

As posted by Shabbera, I also agree it has been made accessible to most of us because 1) we have finished paying our IV fee, or 2) due to the IT department's issue or 3) in case there is a checklist for IV, we anyway need to fill DS260 and hence all of us who have not got case complete emails are able to view it.

Anybody whose case is complete, probably somebody like shtu, can you please update us if you are also getting the DS260 online when you login to the ceac site? Thanks in advance.
