F2A filers waiting for CASE COMPLETION from NVC

Hey guys,

To give you update:

I have case completed on 02 Dec. (without sending any new documents)

Please don't congratulate me, I am frustrated by NVC. (They admit they have mistaken)

I should had my case complte around 10-15 Nov, but I received checklist for missing Marriage Certificate.

I had hundreds of e-mails, calls to probably every one person at NVC. And they corrected the error of course with 20 days delay.

And I don't have interview date as I should have with the other good people here for Jan...

That's the real life....

And now I am praying for february and I don't beleive anybody and I hope that nobody will "play with my life" anymore from this burocracy people...

Of course there is little hope to get interview in December / January.

I have filed expedite request because of

1) NVC error

2) Lie by NVC manager that he will re-review my docs until 20th Nov.

3) Medical conditions...

And in case this guys(NVC) function as a business I should have expedite request approved - mainly because of the lie by the phone, in this country lying is not a good thing especially in cort....

That sucks. Do you have proof of admission from NVC? Like an email? If its by phone, i am not sure how much of it will be valid and ofcourse this is the government. I hope your case gets expdited soon. If you do have some proof then talking to your local congressman/woman/senator might help if NVC decides not to expedite your case. Goodluck. :-)

Thanks for your response saudade21,yes we do have joint sponsor. Hey do you mind saying how your interview went?

it went well..had to got thru the security checkpoint, then into the waiting area..and from then, we were given a number that was used to call us..the 1st window i went to, i was asked to give in my medical, passport, and pictures..and was asked simple questions "who filed for u? how old are you"..then had to wait for another 45mins for the real interview..i took the oath and the officer asked more questions.."who filed for u, how old are u...wat u intend to do in the states..wat did u study at university"...and then i had to sign some selective military service document and the ds 230..and he said i was approved..ill get my passport in 2 weeks.. that was it

Our case was at NVC from july and we got CC on 12th of November, for those of you still waiting for CC have FAITH in God and pray . God bless you all. Ty to Apple21 and all others who was there for me those days when i received those aweful checklists .

Good luck to all who are having Dec interviews . mine is coming up in Jan and i am so excited to get there and to have this journey finished with.

I thank God for teaching me patience and trusting in HIM that it would happen .

Letter was written that we have to send civil documents. But we have already sent out the documents before. Perhaps this is a mistake. I don't now.

Family SECOND Preference:

The total Family SECOND preference waiting list figure is 706,059. Of these, 238,417 (33.8%)

are spouses and children of permanent residents of the United States (the 2A class), and 467,642

(66.2%) are adult unmarried sons/daughters of permanent residents (the 2B class). The Family

SECOND preference represents 16.8% of the total Family preference waiting list. It will receive

114,200 visa numbers for FY 2014, just over half of the 226,000 family preference total; 77% of

SECOND preference numbers are provided to 2A applicants, while the remaining 23% go to the

2B class.

2A: About 87,900 visa numbers are expected to be available during FY 2014. The top five

countries with the highest 2A waiting list totals are:

Upon naturalization of the petitioner, a pending 2A case is converted automatically into the

"Immediate Relative" visa category, which is not subject to numerical limit and therefore

has no visa waiting period. As a result, the amount of cases being processed in the

"Immediate Relative" category may increase and partially offset new F2A filings.
