F2A filers waiting for CASE COMPLETION from NVC

I have a question Guys, three weeks ago, NVC emailed me a checklist to find a joint sponsor. I mailed all the necessary joint sponsor forms and documents the same week I received the checklist. Now I Just called the NVC and operator told me that its Case Completed on 11/27/13 and waiting to be schedule for interview, but she said they haven't review the joint sponsor document yet. What is going to happen now?

What is going to happen now?

Re read the checklist. Sometimes NVC tells to bring the new documents to the embassy during interview. Maybe that's what happened in your case.

Long story short. Get another sponsor and take the details for your interview. If you can get it on time you can send a copy to NVC also so that they can include with your docs before they send to your consulate/embassy abroad.

If your case has been completed and you receive that email after then you should get a joint sponsor and bring it to the interview but if your case has been completed and you send the joint sponsors documents after you got the email then it will delay your case. I received that email 2 days after my case was completed and i called nvc and they said don't send them the documents because the case has been completed i should present it @ the time of the interview. Goodluck

What is your category? Is it F2A or IR/CR? If your PD is Sep 11th,2013 and you are in F2A how did you get case to be processed by NVC and completed as well?

It looks like it is really possible to be case complete under F2A category but unfortunately, if visa bulletin still reflects 8Sept13 as its PD, DSCR will not receive interview schedule until her PD becomes current

That is interesting then. what did NVC say? Did they say that Interview will he scheduled for you even though your PD is still not current?

Shadowflex should be super excited to see this. Atleast the case can get processed at NVC!

My understanding from this document http://www.travel.state.gov/pdf/Immigrant%20Visa%20Control%20System_operation%20of.pdf is that my wife (the applicant) just became 'documentarily qualified' which means her application should be added to the visa demand for Jan14.

Ofcourse.If the demand is less than the prescribed limit after taking in to account the 7% and F2A annaula limitations then yes PD will move. Question is what is the demand? How many F2A cases are there atleast till Nov. Need some kind of demand data to gauge if we have to predict VB.
