@JMG2013.. thank you so much... well, i need some help here regarding my case,,,my daughter is already in the US for 3 years but unfortunately she hasn't receive her greencard yet..my petition has just been processed recently and we just received the IV application processing fee which is $460.00 (for me and for my daughter). i called nvc asking if we should still pay for my daughter since she's already residing in the US however they weren't able to give me a good answer...now we're confused if we should still pay for it or not..

is there anyone here who encountered the same thing?

I looked at your timeline and looks like we are pretty much in the same boat as far as timeline goes. I am expecting to hear something from NVC next week (Just a hunch!). :-)

my daughter enter the US in a follow to join.. me and my husband were not married yet when he first entered the US but we already have our daughter then he just came back in the philippines for us to get married and after that he took our daughter so she could study in the US...and now we received the IV processing fee bill for me and my daughter.. I already explained to NVC that the kid is in the US but they cannot give me an answer if we should pay for her or not anymore...

Follow to join/derivatives are issued green cards, same as the principal applicant. Was your husband previously an F2B beneficiary?

It's quite odd that your daughter was not given a GC.

In my personal experience, our 3 kids were my hubby's F2B derivatives so they are now living in the US. Our kids all have 10-yr green cards, just like my husband.

When my IV fee invoice came, our kids were invoiced too. I called NVC and they told me to submit an email explaining that our kids are already GC holders. I attached scanned copies of our kids' green cards (front & back). My husband only paid for my IV fee (he immediately paid for it as soon as the invoice was available at CEAC). A week or so later, NVC removed our kids' names on the payment portal.

In my opinion, your husband should contact USCIS regarding your daughter's green card.

hi Apple..yes he was an F2B beneficiary before.. and what happened was.,,, my daughter's greencard got lost in the mail.. they did not actually receive it.. according to USCIS it was delivered but unfortunately no one was there to receive it.. they tried to deliver it twice but it was still the same.,.. then my hubby requested for a card replacement 4 times but until now they're not receiving anything.. when i called nvc they just asked if my kid has already greencard (i guess they know that it was not delivered) i told nvc that my kid doesn't have a greencard yet but they already requested for a card replacement.. and yet my question wasn't answered..

but i think i should just ask my hubby to do the same thing like what you did... he should just call nvc about it.. and maybe they would accept the immigrant visa copy on my kid's passport since she doesn't a greencard yet.

Thank u . We submitted those to NVC, do we have to bring those to interview as well?

others says they were asked during interview..

i think that would apply for other category or for those cases that has been completed a year back..

but il bring it with me just to be sure i have something to give when they surprisingly ask..
