Yes, according to the forum here your CC is the day it was actually completed and not the email referred date. You should be Ok for the Jan Interview :-)

I don't know how to do that without a breakdown of category. Meaning, need to know the split in F2A specifically and other family based categories. Someone else might have a better idea.

Math is F2 gets 114000 out of 226K allocated for Family based categories.

77% of F2 goes to F2A . So F2A including all countries gets about 77% of 114000 which is 87934 visas per year. Now each country has a 7% cut off limit which means F2A India could get about 7% of 87934 which is about 6155 visas per yer. Per month its about 512 visas for F2A India.

Now based on I130 and I485 i don't know the breakdown by category which is what we would need.

If any one else has some other math please do let me know.

Family SECOND Preference:

The total Family SECOND preference waiting list figure is 706,910. Of these, 220,313 (31.2%)

are spouses and children of permanent residents of the United States (the 2A class), and 486,597

(68.8%) are adult unmarried sons/daughters of permanent residents (the 2B class). The Family

SECOND preference represents 16.4% of the total Family preference waiting list. It will receive

114,200 visa numbers for FY 2013, just over half of the 226,000 family preference total; 77% of

SECOND preference numbers are provided to 2A applicants, while the remaining 23% go to the

2B class.

2A: About 88,000 visa numbers are expected to be available during FY 2013. The top five

countries with the highest 2A waiting list totals are:

nvc received it on the 20th (aos and iv) and made it to their system on the 21st, pd is aug. 28, 2013 just called up a while ago i was told to wait 30 days

yes i did but the operator keeps on saying "wait for 30 days, we have it on the 21st" when i asked when did they put it to their system she said on the 21st, so i guess i will stick to what she said 21st but dhl delivered it on the 20th

hehe yes i think if the operator said the date they received it, it is the start of 30 days review process. when did you submit your last documents? i submitted aos and iv docs together, hoping to have our cases be completed before christmas hehe then we can have our interview on feb :-)

They received our AOS on the 13th of November while our IV docs on 15th of November...Yes we are expecting the same...hoping no checklist....
