Oct. 29, 2013 = IV Fee Bill received and Paid

Nov. 06, 2013 = AOS entered into system for review

waiting for income tax on january... and im still under contract( work) . will end only nxt year.target interview date either march or april... :)

Not sure. My gut feel says it won't hurt if you send the docs again just to be safe but not sure.

I checked my I864 and Part 3 item 7 is "1" (only my spouse). so if at all i get a checklist it won't be for that. :-)

Did i understand correctly that you are using an attorney for your case since you said "law firm" in your other post. If that is the case then they should know if you have to send the docs again.

NVC

2013-10-10: NVC received the case.

2013-10-15: Received Case number, IIN, Beneficiary number

2013-10-17: Received AOS and IV visa fee invoice email and paid both.

2013-10-21: AOS Fee status changed to PAID.

2013-10-21: IV Fee status changed to PAID. DS-260 is available.

2013-10-26: AOS Docs sent/IV Docs sent/DS-260 Submitted Online.

2013-10-28: NVC received the docs in the morning(Based on Fedex tracking).

2013-11-21: Checklist.

2013-12:20: Case complete : By Phone

2013-12-28 : Case complete email from NVC

2014-01-29: Called DOS for Interview date. Set for March 21,2014.

2013-01-29 Night: Interview Letter by email.

2014-02-03: Finished fingerprinting and Photograph at VAC

2014-02-08: CEAC status changed to "Ready"

2014-02-13: Medical scheduled

2014-03-18: Will try to fly out to Mumbai to be with my wife for her Interview. Not sure if the embassy will let me in but at least want to be there. :-)

2014-03-21: Interview

2014-03-21: VISA approved as per CO. We were told to expect the passport in 3-5 business days.

2014-03-21: CEAC Status"Issued" SAME DAY.

I don't know how to do that without a breakdown of category. Meaning, need to know the split in F2A specifically and other family based categories. Someone else might have a better idea.

Math is F2 gets 114000 out of 226K allocated for Family based categories.

77% of F2 goes to F2A . So F2A including all countries gets about 77% of 114000 which is 87934 visas per year. Now each country has a 7% cut off limit which means F2A India could get about 7% of 87934 which is about 6155 visas per yer. Per month its about 512 visas for F2A India.

Now based on I130 and I485 i don't know the breakdown by category which is what we would need.

If any one else has some other math please do let me know.
