VISA APPROVED!! BUT for some odd reason they still don't have my husband's medical results when he had his Medical in October & we called SLEC & they said they have forwarded

it. He was told to wait up to 2 weeks for his visa

though. So i guess it really means he was

approved.. I called the embassy to verify with

their incoming mail section & i can't get through

the number.

I will, as soon as i find out more. He's flying back go cebu then we get to facetime. Lol

So far, he said just the basic questions, my address, when we got married, how we met, & if there is another sponsor's involved. (Yes, then he showed them his copy of our joint sponsor's aos) Then he was told by the American Consul he's been approved but next window told him they are still waiting for his medical results from SLEC. (Weird, i know, SLEC forwarded It on Oct 23 but a friend mentioned that sometimes it takes a while for them to "locate" it) He was told to wait up to 2 weeks for his visa in the mail.

That's what i know so far.

Oh, & they looked at our albums. I sent him wedding, maternity, & our family "vacation" in the philippines. Hmmm. That's about what i know so far.

Yes.. He even went back (after leaving) to double check that they don't need the CD results. Anyway, we'll just have to wait.

OMG!!!!today its 24 business days of AOS checklist and 19 working days of our IV docs but i have'nt call yet...!!!so i have a question fellow VJ's, after they reviewed our docs are they gonna send us an immediately email if we got checklist?

My wife's interview went well she was approved today - such a long journey, finally reaching the finish line. They said she should expect her passport in 7 to 10 days

Sure thing -

They asked her when did we get married, how many times did I come to visit her in Pakistan, was it a love marraige or arrainged, why did we go to Iran (we went for our honeymoon and also for religious pilgramage), asked what work would she do when she moves to the US, and asked about me about what I do here in the US and where do I live and few simple other questions etc. That's pretty much it. She said they didn't ask her for any proof of relationship evidence, they just saw some of the marraige pics and said that's enough. She took a big album with her so they said that's way too many pics. But I think the more merrier no harm in taking that many if you ask me.

Her appointment was for 7:30 AM and she finally had the actual interview at around noonish.
