F2A filers waiting for CASE COMPLETION from NVC

I registered last night and the earliest date available is January 9. Is it alright to schedule an interview now as my case was just completed Nov. 8?

I wouldn't recommend it.

Wait for NVC to give you an interview letter. Once you have your I/L and you don't like the date assigned to you, that's the time you call USEM for a re-schedule.

Yes I did it for my sister. I went to ustraveldocs.com/ph and schedule online. You have to put in infos and you can pick your dates for interview. As of now Jan 9 is the earliest available. Try it as long as you are cc already

Thanks for the response! I just called NVC to confirm if this is possible just to be sure. I was advised that "No it is not possible to schedule interviews online for I-130. You have to wait for an interview letter." I'm not sure if you are allowed to reschedule after IL though. I think we'll just have to wait and see - I know a few people who rescheduled should be getting interviewed soon. Hope they share their experiences. Can you also let us know what happens when you receive your IL - should reflect the date you scheduled online I suppose?

VISA APPROVED!! BUT for some odd reason they still don't have my husband's medical results when he had his Medical in October & we called SLEC & they said they have forwarded it. He was told to wait up to 2 weeks for his visa though. So i guess it really means he was approved.. I called the embassy to verify with their incoming mail section & i can't get through the number.

Thank you. But the whole medical results thing ia really bothering me. We had an advance medical for a reason. What about those who have it 2 weeks before their interview? I'm just really confused.
