hi jay24, thanks i will try calling them on monday. since they will be closed saturday and sunday.

my husband even told CO that my wife is a US citizen now. since i got my citizen recently.

Hi All,

I am in the process of sending AOS Docs and i am self employed (i have my own company) and w.r.to Employment Letter , what documents do i need to send ??

Do i need to send my business license etc ??

Sorry i couldn't find much info related to self employed docs. Appreciate any help.

Hi All,

I am in the process of sending AOS Docs and i am self employed (i have my own company) and w.r.to Employment Letter , what documents do i need to send ??

Do i need to send my business license etc ??

Sorry i couldn't find much info related to self employed docs. Appreciate any help.

I'd think you'd need

Personal Tax

Business Tax

Business License ( to show that you are self employed and that your name is in there )

Quarterly Tax filing

copied from other forms elsewhere

If someone is self employed and they are presenting an i-864, they obviously don't have an employer who pays them, so can they write a letter from themselves stating what they do and how much they make??, if anyone with past experience please let me know
  • Written explanation supporting the information shown on the I-864 can be helpful in clarifying anything that might be confusing. Just be sure that the explanation is consistent with what's on the I-864 and other supporting documents so that it does clarify rather than confuse.
  • Two things that many self-employed people need to understand is the difference between their personal income and their business' income, and the fact that they - not their business - is sponsoring the immigrant. The business income is shown on Schedule C. The personal income is shown on Form 1040.

Q: What types of evidence can be used to show self-employment?

A: Self-employed persons are required to show a copy of their business license (if applicable), and the self-employment schedules they filed with their income tax returns.

hello guys! i have an urgent question.. my husband was unemployed in 2012. so what should we write in his current income? he got a job in 2013! and he has never been employed before.. so what should be written in unemployed since?

Called NVC today and the operator told me that our case was completed on November 13th.I have not received the email confirmation yet but the operator told me that it will be sent out very soon.

Perfect news to start my weekend.

Thanks to this forum and all my fellow members for your support.

Without all of you guys,the journey would not have been any easier.

Congrats :) Within the last hour i have received confirmation E-Mail of CC, an E-Mail saying they will contact me when they have sent my file to the Embassy/Consulate YAYYYYY , maybe today you will get yours too. My case was complete on 12th :) Good Luck.

i called nvc today and still d same what they told me yesterday...still on review...its 17 business days of my iv docs and 22 business days of my aos checklist....!!oh come!!on !!!!hoping to get cc this coming monday to have a january interview..Please Lord help me...?

Hi, when was ur last doc entered into system? I am waiting for cc too, it's 17 business days for me..
