If u have already paid in NVC then NO. U can see in ur interview letter as well (last page).

I do see you have completed the medicals . My husband does not have any vaccination report with him. What do we do ???

Hi MJSAM, I m nt aware of any kind of VFS fee, neither my attorney nor NVC/embassy has informed me so far about this.

Even i dont hav vaccination report, the panel physician asked me about previous immunization or medical complications, I told them all (i dnt have any complication so far). They gave me shots of Tdap n MMR (everyone gets this for sure).

The basic fee they asked is 2330 ( physical examination + X ray + Blood test ), rest u hv to buy the vaccine ur self (whatever ur panel physician prescribes u)

The process was quite fast n smooth. It hardly took an hour.

after 8 days they asked me to collect the report.

Guys, i know we are in the middle of ILs celebration but i will just like you to help look into this scenario.

My wife(principal applicant) is in UK now for graduate program which will end this December and my son in Nigeria. We applied for our son to join her in the UK but his visa was refused. Now we are at NVC stage right now and waiting for case completion.

I called NVC today to see if my wife can have her interview in London and then my son in Nigeria but the reply was that they are not in control of that, they further suggested the following:

1. That i should either call US consulate in London to see if they can do that for us or file a new petition for my son but we will most likely have to go through the rigor of submitting documents again and paying for him again.

2. They also mention another scenario of having my wife go to Nigeria and they both have the interview their and in that case they will have to transfer the file to Lagos, Nigeria instead of London, UK.

My church mind is telling me i better request for all to be moved to Nigeria and save myself the hazzles.

Guys, what do you suggest i do considering the rigor and agony of re-submitting all documents i already submitted, waiting on line, 20-30 business days, checklists etc?

What are the issues you think i can encounter requesting a change of embassy/consulate and will it delay the whole process?

How long can i expect the change to be addressed/effected?

Please advise.

I think the only way to get a real answer is to call the US consulate in London and Nigeria. It's a very specific scenario that they'd be the most knowledgable for. For what its worth, I don't think I'd start the whole petition all over again if I were you. I'd probably do whatever it takes to move the one I already have forward because the timeline of the visa process is unpredictable and might be different (slower) in the future. I also wouldn't want to waste the time and money I put into it already. Good luck!
