This means AOS documents were reviewed and accepted. And with 99% probability IV documents also.

Soon you will get case complete status and interview in January.

I am following you with 1-2 weeks.... Just I did not know that all the birth certificates, etc have to be sent to NVC. And I was not prepared good, but this is real life. Before 3-4 years when I was in similar process (DV) they needed this documents at the interview. And I thought it will be the same with NVC like Kentucky and I didn't prepared my wife to get the documents in time..........

Nice people of this forum. I have a concern/question that someone might have an idea about.

I received a checklist (unfortunately ofcourse) . The checklist starts with the notion that they are still awaiting my civil documents !!!! and then a couple of items that needs to be furnished in regards to AOS.

The thing is, I sent both IV and AOS packages separately but at the same time. Delivery was done for both (confirmed) and I even called NVC and they also confirmed getting 2 packages a day after delivery.

Do you nice people think that they asking for civil documents is because the people who do AOS are separate from people who do IV reviews and since packages sent at the same time, AOS group does not know about IV group?

Kind of worried of why they do indicate that they are still waiting for the civil documents even though they have it. Anyone can give me any clues in this? I ll sure call them, but a quick input goes a long long way. Thanks to all.

first you should call the nvc and find out about whats going on with you case. and second i don't think AOS department would request civil documents. in some cases if they completed your Aos package then they send you a checklist so you can review your civil document and make sure there is no any missing documents etc. they are just reminding you about next steep and what you need to send with iv package.

i received a checklist requesting civil documents in the same day my AOS package accepted which i already submitted all civil documents.

Since you sent separately, 20-30 business days for the AOS and 20-30 business days for the IV.

If you get a checklist for either packages, another 20-30 business days to review that checklist.

You will get a confirmation email. Print that and bring it on your interview.
