Ok, so here go's , as of today i have sent NVC the 2 requested photos also a copy of my biometric page of my passport , i have put case number on ALL and also my name on back of photos, Now they did NOT ask for copy of my passport HOWEVER like i have said they send me E-Mail in my name before i married. I stapled the checklist together along with the copy of passport biometric page, The photos i just put in envelope lose.

So now it is in fast courier service to NVC, so i will await again until they put it in to there computer and see if i get another checklist for something i have already sent.

I apologise for the rant yesterday but i was absolutley blown away with them asking for photos that had already been sent and was fuming they did not ask for these in first checklist.

But after a while of talking with my husband i calmed down from the rant and did as they requested . So that is it now i sit and wait for documents to reach them and to see if they desire to send another checklist . Hopefully they wont.

So for now i wait but i dont have any faith in the NVC due to their incompetence of not doing a job correctly, Like i have said these photos could have been requested in first checklist - hence they are nit picking and this is why i was so upset over it all yesterday. Getting 1 checklist is bad enough but 2 - 3 or even more is beyond me.

Anyway i wish you all the very best in your gaining of your visas and getting CC and IL .

I'm getting more and more confused about your posts.

You did medical exam in US? For what? Did you attempt to adjust status while in the US? or was it just a routine medical check-up that has nothing to do with your F2A?

I originally did my medical in USA as i WAS going to Adjust status after getting married last year - HOWEVER - I chose to come home and do this process through an attorney in USA , SO originally i did do my medical in USA yes, but then I went to have ANOTHER medical in LND in august, so im sorry for confusing you APPLE21- I think it is the vaccinations i was worried about not another medical as the medical lasts a year . So i am hopeing i will not need to have more injections apart from my yearly flu jab that i have here anyway.

I have looked online and as far as i can see the medical AND also the police certificate both last one year so in that case i am all good.

Hope i clarified it more for you.

That's true apple21 i join the positive crew i was upset when i got a checklist but i've gotten over it and try to fix the problem waiting to be completed soon.

SINGJAY It was second list not first - Frustration was due to them not resquesting this new stuff in first checklist.

All sorted now and i will await again PATIENTLY and just get on with things and expect to hear something in November maybe from them now.

Hey guys, I just received my case number yesterday. May I please have some guidance as to the next step, thanks in advance.

Did you also get your invoice number? You need these two numbers to log-in into the consular website to fill up your DS261 ( choice of agent) online. Make sure that NVC (give NVC a call) has the petitioner and beneficiary email address ( strongly recommended) for future correspondence between NVC, petitioner and beneficiary. Log-in to https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx to fill up your DS261 (choice of agent), it is highly recommended to choose the petitioner as the agent of the beneficiary. While you're in website, you can pay the AOS fee which is $88, once paid print the cover sheet of your AOS and put this on top of your AOS documents and mail it to NVC. For the meantime, your visa application fee will not be invoiced until your DS261 is accepted. Once NVC accepted the beneficiary choice of agent, keep checking the website until you see that it's ready to make a payment ($230). Once payment is made and accepted, again, print the cover sheet for your visa application and put this on top of your civil documents and mail it to NVC. The reason for printing the barcoded cover sheet is to avoid delay of the beneficiary visa application (also make NVC workload easier). You can also send your AOS documents and civil documents together in separate envelope and put them together in one envelope since the address is the same for AOS and civil documents.

Gather your documents for your AOS, 6 months worth of pay stubs, letter of employment, tax transcripts for 2010, 2011, and 2012 ( you can request these transcripts online at irs.gov), I-864 forms, etc.,

Civil documents needed can be found at http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3195.html , there are too many to mention here. Just ask if you need more info or clarification.

Call NVC again to make sure that you got the case# and invoice # correctly. Once confirmed, log in again. Good luck!
