Absolutley gutted as im fairly confident the medical lasts a year does it not? and also the police cert 6 months??? oh my they sure do know they have totally stitched us up in that way too, if i still went for this darn visa i would have to pay for all these again !!!!!!!11 had mdical last december whilst in usa, sad.png((((((((

I'm getting more and more confused about your posts.

You did medical exam in US? For what? Did you attempt to adjust status while in the US? or was it just a routine medical check-up that has nothing to do with your F2A?

USCIS was already slow way back in 2011. You see the 2011 filers still waiting to be case completed?

nope apple21 im talking about now.... these past few months they are fast in approving cases since f2a was current... but now its kinda slow again,, anyways im more interested on nvc processing timeframe and my concern is actually the government shutdown that might affect it in coming months u know which i hope will not plus sep 8 13 how it will affect us.. like what ive said those who havent recieved noa2 in some threads observes the slow movement after the fast approvals past months. sure saw that 2011 filers still waiting for their case to be complete that is why im happy that nvc are working see the progress.rolleyes.gif

nope apple21 im talking about now.... these past few months they are fast in approving cases since f2a was current... but now its kinda slow again,, anyways im more interested on nvc processing timeframe There is no specific timeframe on how long a case stays at NVC because you may get a checklist or two or none at all. Personally, my case stayed at NVC for 4 months.

and my concern is actually the government shutdown that might affect it in coming months u know which i hope will not No one knows for sure, but personally I don't worry about it.

plus sep 8 13 how it will affect us.. The VB cut-off only works favorably for those who have already completed their case at NVC and if their PD is before the cut-off date. The VB will change every month. It can freeze, it can move back or it can move forward.

like what ive said those who havent recieved noa2 in some threads observes the slow movement after the fast approvals past months. A fast approval does not guarantee anything as everyone goes thru NVC processing, as I've mentioned above, timeframes vary per case plus the unpredictability of the VB.

Lots of info are already available here on VJ. Analogy of those info will give you a complete overview of what and what not to do. It will also give you a rough ESTIMATE of the process. wink.png

ok very good.. cos we are expecting first quarter of 2014 that is what the lawyer told husband for our pds to be current that is why husband kinda worried about government shutdown(means less people will work in nvc) that it might add days/weeks/months well hope not year with S... for it. thanks againrolleyes.gifgood.gif.. yep im here to analyze and not just relying of what lawyer told him but i believe he's a good lawyer though,,, but still curious and gather info thanks

Miacarmela I agree with you 100%. I have read here people who filed in 2013 complaining about the long wait.

We can't do anything except to wait!! Look at me my PD is june2011 and i have a little kid waiting for our case complete!!!
