calling NVC everyday and receiving the same 30 days waiting period answer! AOS checklist was entered into the system on Sept 17th!!! I want everyones' prayers guys!!! wishing to get case complete tooo!!!!!!! 16th business day today

Dunno why the system rejected the addresses part, they want detailed addresses and I gave already but addresses in my country aren't same as in USA so no house number or st or so, hope it works this time !!!

GUYS,my wife has lived in india till 2010 from 2006.Does she need to have a police report from india as well for that time period.I am in the phase to submit her civil documents to NVC.I already have a police report for the current birth place she is in at the present but not from india.Any idea guys?

I lived in another place as well, they would ask about it during the interview but as for civil documents I just sent the one of my country

oh boo we got another checklist- for applicants birth certificate!! im alittle confused since we sent the original.maybe they lost it? good thing my mom have another certified copy of my brothers birth certificate.

Some places i read that if you dont get a case complete by the first week of the month then you will not get an interview the following month but start hoping for the following one. (i.e. CC october 15th interview not in November but December at the earliest)

While other places some ppl say they got CC 3rd week of month and got scheduled an interview the following month..

So i already know the bit re the embassy itself and the different categories.. but does the above scenario have a rule or what?

You can study the list. Those who got interview letter for November interviews were those case completed on or before Sept 20, 2013.

It looks (to me) like NVC has their own "cut-off" period which is the 3rd week.

Those who got CC on Sept 21, 2013 onwards did not get I/L.

I got CC on Sept 30 (last week) and I didn't get an interview letter though they sent out interview letters (emails) on Oct 2nd and 3rd (for the November interviews).

I will get my I/L probably last week of Oct OR first week of November. Interview will be in December.
