You should call NVC about this because I'm not sure if missing the middle name will cause a problem. Try to ask Kai26 about this as well in this thread as he encountered the same problem. When did you send your DS260?

Don't panic, just relax.., you will know it by Monday after contacting NVC. This is an easy fix.

I have the same problem. I didn't put my sisters middle name in given names. I called NVC after I realized my mistakes and they said they can't do anything until they reviewed our case. So when the time came that they reviewed it, they didn't say anything about it, I got no checklist and they accepted it.

touched April 8,2010

email approval 6/23/10

NOA2 received 6/28/2010

NVC case# assigned 7/2/2010

aos fee bill&ds3032 received 7/8/2010

Well my IV documents and ds230 are already accepted before I filled up ds260 so when I called up nvc they told me they cannot do anything about it and when interview comes I just have to tell the consul my error so they can check it.

Another csr from nvc told me if you made an error in your ds260 then you should wait for your checklist then makeyour corrections then wait for another 20 business days.

USCIS:

July 16 2012: I-130 sent

July 18 2012: Priority date

July 3 2013: NOA 2

NVC

July 17 2013: NVC received my case file

July 19 2013: case number and IIN received, ds-3032 sent

July 26 2013: ds 3032 and AOS invoice fee received. AOS fee Paid

July 29 2013: AOS package sent

July 31 2013: AOS package received at NVC

Aug 01 2013: AOS entered for review

Aug 02 2013: ds 3032 accepted

Aug 03 2013: IV invoice fee received via email and paid; Sent IV package to NVC

Do you guys usually call the NVC to ask when your checklist was entered? When i called, they only told me it was accepted on Sept 20(Fri) & i am just expecting that they started to enter it on the 23rd (Mon)... Expecting CC on Oct 14 & on. Should i call to make sure when they entered it? I dont wanna seem pushy, but if they get that often then i won't feel bad. Hehehe

Hello everybody. I am new here. First of all I would like to thank each and everyone of you for contributing & sharing such worthy information with others.

You can see our timeline in the signature. I have few things to say about this timeline:

Our attorney sent everything to the NVC on August 9-2013 Friday. It was at NVC on August 12-2013 Monday. I called NVC on Sep 17. They told me that they received the entire package on September 12. I asked how come it sat there for one month? CSR's only answer was 'this is when they received it'. I should have inquired further asking if that is when it was entered in their system for review but I did not.

Anyways we are moving along and hoping a positive outcome like rest of you.

Our case was filed locally in Atlanta and my spouse lives in Russia with a baby. Waiting to be together soon goofy.gif

Once again thank you all for posting updates and especially Apple21 for being so helpful.

BTW our AOS checklist was an exact replica of kai26 mentioned earlier in the first few pages of this thread.

just wanna share my experienced..yesterday my problem was about the given name on my ds260 coz i entered only the first name...all you have to do if you want to change or edit go on to ds261 you can edit there and automatically change also ur ds260!!!????
