sorry about my post....what i mean is if we send the IV documents, do we need to enclose the ds230 or just the payment barcode?and do the ds260 only?

Civil documents + IV coversheet is enough.

Hi Friends,

This question may be mainly for India folks, I received check-list for both AOS(2nd) and IV(1st).

For AOS it seems to be a false one as they are waiting for my response to checklist they sent earlier. And they have already in the system since 09/25. So this can be ignored.

For Passport Police Certificate, I want to be very sure even though 2 Reps told me after I received checklist that you need to obtain it and present it at the time of Interview.

I assume that is corect but I do not want to get checklist again when actually my AOS is accepted on or before 10/21. And then wait for anotehr month for IV checklist.

Can you guys confirm that for Indian Consulates, it is not needed to have PCC to be sent to NVC? And hope fully I will have my case completed as soon as AOS checklist review is completed?

Hi, Have u applied for PCC? Passport office gives 2 copy of Police clearance certificate. Wen I got my check list, I submitted one copy of PCC to NVC and another copy is with me for the time of interview. Even though i submitted PCC to NVC, I got a mail from NVC that they needed PCC issued by Regional passport office. My attorney replied the mail immediately saying we already submitted PCC to NVC... then again I got mail from NVC that original PCC is required at the time of interview as well. and 4 days after that i got case completion mail. As i have 1 copy of original PCC, it is not an issue for me. Hope this information will help u

Thank you pallu2013. We received her passport 3 weeks back. We hope to have police verification completed in one more week and then will apply for PCC. This is crazy. I do not want to miss December interview dates at any cost.

Your timeline and mine are very similar. The only missing thing for me is the acceptance of the AOS checklist response as well. I've seen from other people' cases it usually takes 15 business days, but I don't know if all these political problems will cause a delay in our papers... Let's hope for the best!!!!!

Yes, they do look similar. I hope so. I should have been case completed on 09/30 like apple21 as my IV got accepted (I believe so) on 09/30. If AOS checklist is completed in 15 business days then that would be 10/15. If not even if it is done by 10/18 we should be OK as there are chances that we will get Interview for December. If it is completed on 10/21 which is 20th BD then not sure we will get the I/L in Novemeber or not.

Let's see who all in September got CC, get I/L in October or not, that way we will know what will happen to us next month.

My Checklist was put into system on sept 17th. I also await now for CC, Today is my 14th day , praying this week i am CC. Good luck to us all who are waiting now.

I have left some non-applicable questions blank in my aos form too. Unfortunately, i got a checklist but not because of some questions left blank. My aos checklist requested for proof of relationship of cosponsor to the petitioner. I dont think that leaving some items blank will cause you checklist. It may be for something else or if lucky, no checklist at all. :-)
