time? just for the papers to arrive after NVC finishes up? About 10 days.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

i suggest you find Hank_ 's handy-dandy, neeto-keen (yet spiffy) guide to SuperFast K-1 Visa Chasing at Manila IV.

Drill around in the PI forum here, you'll find Hank and his stuff.

Once you find it, read it. read it 12 times over 2 days.

It's very dense with info.

I had to chuckle at Darnell's comments about Hank's guide. It's the most helpful document, but not kidding when you have to read it lots of time hehe. Here's the link.

A month from when you receive your MNL # should be fine, but not from when you get your NOA2. I would lean towards the 2nd week of September.

You could get CFO out of the way while waiting.

Very soon it will be rock 'n' roll time!!

Please, just make sure you have all your paper work ready, complete and not missing anything before

you set you interview date... I read so many times on here that people are trying to rush into getting

the interview done before they get their paper work completed and have all the documents. The person

being interviewed should know the whole process as well and are sure they have all the documents

during the interview. This is not a process that should be rushed, take your time and do it right

please....

That's sound advice. There can be delays in many of the documents that are needed especially NBI. Get your CENOMAR and Birth Certificates and if there are annulments or a divorce decree make sure you have original and copies.

Good luck to us all.

Once you have NOA2 you can start to gather all documents. I am glad I found this site. My lawyer said we didn't need a passport then when I got the NOA 2 the lawyer asked for my fiancée's passport. #######? Luckily I found this forum in Feb.! Lawyers are the most waste of money and time element to immigration.
