It has been nearly 3 years since i moved to the US but i'm still unable to get a decent job. I have a bachelors in early childhood education and was teaching in my home country for close to 10 years. I'm frustrated that i can't get a teaching job here even though i have tried so hard.

I did manage to get a retail job eventually. Both my first and current job here are in retail. I work full time but i never seem to have enough money to pay my share of the bills. My husband pays the bills he can afford to but his job doesn't pay alot either. I would really like to get out of retail and get a better job to improve the quality of our lives. Although i always on the lookout for jobs and apply for positions often, nothing has worked in my favour so far.

I don't know if i still want to pursue teaching anymore or just start on a new career path. I'm not sure what kind of other jobs i should be looking for, or what kind of jobs that would take my early childhood education degree other than the preschools/daycares. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm open to going back to school if necessary. Thanks.

Why don't you want to work at a preschool? That is what your degree is in.

Hi, everyone!

My suggestions may be useful for persons who are currently searching for a job position. Of course, I mean well paid job. So, you should create an account at Linkedin (to be in touch with professionals in your field).. It is important to create "bright" CV. You should be attractive to companies. Next step is looking for good opportunities.
