Your case was completed Aug 9 and you got your I/L on Aug 21 same month. I think read somewhere that if you get case completed within the first 2 weeks then you get your I/L the same day. Everyone else in this forum who got their case completed after 2nd week got it the next month. Thats why I am hoping that since mine was last Friday it is still in the 2nd week so maybe I will get an I/L this month too :)

Oh well if not at least I am case complete and that is in itself a big relief.

Yupp seems like that'll happen

Does anybody know if we have to pay any additional fees at embassy on interview day ? if yes then approx how much ? do they take cash ? dollars ? PKR ?

and so far we haven't got our interview letter, and tired of calling NVC everyday.

We didn't pay anything for my husbands interview.

We took dollars but they didn't come handy.

After he got his Visa package, there came a slip along with it which said he has to pay the fee online after he received the Package.

It is upto you but we were told to pay the fee after he received the Visa package

Dear all,

My case has been completed at NVC as I recieved an emailed from them saying that " your case has been completed and we are waiting for an interview date from Islamabad embassy". This was back in August 2013, but the online status still shows "At NVC".

What is the average time after the case is complete to get an interview date. How to know when is an expected date for an interview.

My prirority date is 20th Oct 2012 and my case was completed in Aug 2013.

I have tried to call islamabad embassy they dont answer any quries over the phone.

Best wishes,

Umer

I would suggest calling DOS and also call NVC and talk to a superviser to get an update.

What date did you receive your cc email?

About 20 days ago, but I talked to them over the phone before that and they told me that my case is completed at NVC.

So maybe during this week or first week of October you will get your I/L, if not then next month for sure.

That's the way it goes. Do let us know when you get it though, my CC was 11 days ago, so I'm hoping we get it this time around rather than wait another month!

You should be getting it soon. I got mine in 11 days so don't worry it's coming!!! And I'm guessing if you get the letter in October, you will get the interview date in October also!! Good luck!

They emailed us the date and time and what documents to bring.

I know you got yours within 11 days but most others didn't get their I/L that fast :'(

Are you going to take a Police Certificate with you? The NVC didn't require it but I'm thinking I'm just going to tell my wife to take one just in case they ask for one. Whats your opinion or did the embassy tell you anything about it?

My husband turned in the PC to NVC with all his other civil documents so we didn't need to take it to the interview. I would recommend she take it to the interview because it doesn't hurt to have extra papers but hurts a lot if you have to go back and turn something in. While you guys are waiting for the IL, get her pc made. It took us 2 weeks to receive his.

Yea I think I will do that b/c even though the website says they dont need police certificates for Pakistan but you never know what the embassy might ask for it at the very end.
