Wow, lucky couple. CC under 8 weeks is great! congrats.

 

Our CC was June 6 and we got Interview Appointment email (P4) around June 14 if I recall correctly. You will most likely get an August interview as they stop scheduling interview for the month towards the end.

- After the interview how the documents, passport, and visa packet is returned? If courier service is available then how and when one can sign-up for it?

- Do you know what are the best places to stay near Islamabad embassy?

I have a question to ask if anyone has knowledge. My wife has received her interview date for late August and I was wondering what are the chances for NVC to reschedule the interview for a earlier date? Is ISL flexible? Their processing time seems short and I feel it's a quick process. My wife has her documents together and just needs to do her medical.

You can always give it a try. 

 

I can't say for sure if they'll approve or not. Our expedite request was rejected by the embassy for a medical issue so I think they are a bit choosy as who to who gets a quick pass.
