My wife interview was on oct 23 and passport was picked up today with visa on it. . So it takes almost 8 days including sat and sun.

Kash if you don't mind me asking, is your wife reserving her ticket to come here any time soon? My husband is having a dilemma of whether he should get a ticket from a travel agent or go to the airline office directly to book a ticket. Travel agents seem to be lying about the ticket prices since they are significantly different online (the airline websites).

Also one more question, did you take with you proof like chat logs, and telephone logs, and if you did how many months back did you show, would the last 3 months be enough or do they want everything going back to the nikah which for me would be almost 2 years worth

My husband took chat logs, emails, phone bills from 2010 to present. He also took boarding passes of all the trips I made to visit him and copy of all the exit and entry stamps on my passport showing proofs of the visits. The CO didnt ask to see anything except wedding pictures and thank God he took two wedding albums along with pictures taken after the wedding from each visit etc.

So I think take whatever you have just in case.

I bought the ticket from USA, its not much difference . I bought from a agent I know for many years.

Hope this will help you.

My wife have none of the things with her as mentioned here. Fortunately there did not ask her anything. But keep least current logs with you at the interview.

Thanks!

Thanks! I was contemplating on doing this, but some airlines require the person who travels to be the one who purchases the ticket. Which airline if you don't ,ind me asking? Pm me the price please.

I booked @ Emirates. Again the price vary with the time and the month you flying. Best you look at the web site and then check with the agent, it provide you an idea about how much it cost.

Hi Pearls

My wife got her interview approved today. How many days does it take for them to send the passport? They say 7 to 10 days but is it sooner than that?

Thanks

One lady told me she got her's exactly on the 2nd day after the interview. So I guess that is the earliest that you could potentially get yours.

I also had my interview approved today..please post here when you get your passport back..
