Hello everyone,

I am the petitioner and I applied for K-1 visa for my fiance who lives in Iran. After waiting 83 days, I finally received the NOA2. I was fallowing the instruction provided in this site and by calling the DoS, I was able to get my case#. I navigated to https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx? and I've got the following:

"Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center."

I have no IDEA what to do Next. I already filled my affidavit of support and had it notarized. I have my last 3 most resent pay stubs, I've also got my 2012 W2 and tax return plus an employment verification form from the company I work for. last but not least, my last 3 bank statements.

I picked the embassy in Abu Dhabi when I filed my petition and their web site has no section for K1 visa.

What is going to happen at this point? Am I going to receive the packet or my fiance will receive it? Do I need to make an appointment or the embassy will be providing us with one?

When I go to contact the embassy, I get the following:

If you are applying for a K (fiancée) visa, it is normal for it to take several months before you receive an appointment. Please do NOT send us an email asking about your appointment date, as that will slow down the process. If you have been informed by NVC that your petition has been approved, please do NOT email us asking for an appointment date. You will be informed by NVC when your appointment is. It is NOT possible to move appointments to an earlier date. To change the date of an already scheduled appointment, please check the reschedule appointment option from this same website.

Important Change: All visa applicants MUST visit the website www.usvisa-info.com to create an account and register for courier delivery service BEFORE their interview. All K fiancée visa applicants may pay online via a credit card at the time they register for courier services, and they must print out and bring a receipt of that payment to the Embassy the day of interview or they may pay, in cash only, in the Embassy on the day of their interview. All other Immigrant Visa fees, including DV (Visa Lottery) fees, can be paid in cash at the Embassy on the day of their interview.

So Do I need to signup at this site or my fiance needs to do it? I'm just going crazy and I have no idea what is going to happen to me. Please help

Read through the instructions they provide associated with each form. They'll walk you through exactly what you need to do.

For the I-134, the instructions specify that it does NOT need notarized. Under the Execution of Affidavit section, it says: "Form I-134 must be signed in your full name. (Note: Signing form I-134 is under penalty of perjury under U.S. law). For this reason, it is not necessary to sign Form I-134 before a notary, nor to have your signature notarized after you sign it."

I believe we're all using the same forms, but just be sure to follow the instructions the embassy provides as well as look up form instructions and samples of forms from the VJ website.
