  1. 1. I have a gun on my person. Am I looking for trouble?

    • Yes. You cannot carry a gun unless you are looking for trouble.
    • No. You can carry a gun and go about your everyday business.
    • Maybe. You might do more vigilante style profiling than normal.

Why is this a problem? Are you ok with people who have mental health disorders having firearms in their homes?

Lots of people on this site with obvious mental health problems appear to have firearms. Ho hum.

Thanks to all who replied here.

The main issue I saw was folks said ccw holders should be better screened and/or trained. My question is, do you want the government having the authority to say who can and cant be privately armed?

Im also wondering how everyone is against a poll tax (and showing ID) when voting but has no issue with creating a database of ownership and licensing for the right to bear arms. Why the double standard?

Ensure your beneficiary makes and brings with them to the States a copy of the DS-3025 (vaccination form)

If the government is going to force me to exercise my "right" to health care, then they better start requiring people to exercise their Right to Bear Arms. - "Where's my public option rifle?"

If a person has mental problems in their health record(depression, prone to violent outburst) are these the type of people you want armed? There have been quite a few links posted here about folks with mental illness having leagally obtained firearms and killing adults and children alike. The government says you can't be a felon and have guns, correct? I'm not sure about that so if it's not true someone let me know.

For your second question, who's against voter ID laws? I think you should show some form of identification in order to vote. It's crazy that in order to drive a car, get any type of real medication, there is rules and regulations that need to be followed. But when it comes to guns, it's a free for all.

Sorry, then they are wrong. There's nothing wrong with having an ID to vote.

Can homeless people get an ID? Can they vote?

They should be able to use something. Every one should have access to some form of ID. Maybe this is what all the pushback is from.
