Interview dates opened up earlier than what was available previously. I think everyone who was affected by Typhoon Haiyan got their interview dates set so all other reserved slots were then released.

The 50 days average you mentioned would probably turn out correct.

The interview dates are back to April 15, 2014 :(

**did you booked the first avaialble dates & just change it when you know that there has been an opennings for earlier dates or you've waited till the earlier dates was released?

When we were trying to schedule, there were no available dates at all, so we waited. Finally, when dates became available, we immediately booked the interview date. The earliest available date in our case was 6 January 2014. There were other dates in January and February available.

If someone give me advice. Here is my situation, our petition got approved around Nov then once Nvc received it I found out from them that my fiancee dob is incorrect. I was advised to email them with my fiancee passport which I did. Also, noa1 has correct info when I received it. Its the nvc who did the typo.I waited for them to reply only to find out that my case has been sent out to manila embassy already and was told all future contacts should go to manila embassy. They provided me the case number on the email but didn't really tell me if they corrected the issue. I do not know what to do next I am hesitant to schedule an interview appointment without knowing if issue got corrected.

Please advise me anyone. Thanks

booked the April 23, 2014 interview...

My home was washed out by typhoon Haiyan in Tacloban City, though I am working here in Makati, would I still qualify to have a request for an earlier date? I've lost everything too... The only things now that I have are the things that I brought with me here in Makati to work. Don't know what to do. Help.?

So the same thing happened to mine.... haha.... they can´t even type a DOB correctly.... I spoke with them they asked me to do the same thing.... I asked her if this would be a problem to ship the case... she said no worries, if it does not get fixed before it leaves NVC, the embassy will correct it.... so as long as USCIS has it correctly on the NOA1 it will be fine.... they go by what you put on the DS160 and what USCIS sends them.... so no worries... go ahead and schedule your interview... we did it with no problems.... let me know... good luck!!!
