It's really simple.

This is the syntax:

ABC YYYY 123 00X

First THREE letters are the US Consular post (NPL in my case, I dare to say your is LON or maybe LDN...I'm sure you know that already).

Followed by:

• Four digits for the YEAR (2013)
• Day of the year in Julian Calendar plus 500
• Spot in queue of your petition ==> 001 first one approved that day, 002 second one, and so on).

Now, let's see.

Say your petition gets shipped today (11/23). What you would enter is: EXP 22 NOV 2013A (I found that to be the case with mine).

As for the date range, change the "FROM" to a few days before the actual shipment, and leave the "TO" to the actual day's date (it should already be that by default).

Make sure you put "United Kingdom" as your "Shipment Destination", mine would not return any results without it.

What is the code for London? Do you know? If so, you can start playing with the CEAC website.

Curious me went to look for what the code is...and it's "LND"

If you want to waste some time playing with CEAC, look at the latest numbers being processed at NVC and then backtrack to see who's ready, who's in transit, and who's at NVC. Also bear in mind that a few of those from my "batch" of the 18th are still sitting at the NVC.

Try LND201382600X (where x is the sequential case number assigned to your petition). #1 for instance, is "At NVC". These are cases created on the 326th day of the Julian Calendar (11/22)

Hope this helps, if only to kill time while you wait! LOL

P.S. Petitions, on average, take THREE days from when they get processed in the States to when they get to London (I would say it's probably the same time frame for any consular post in the EU, or at least, that's also the case with Italy, in my experience...).

Congratualtions, that's great news! When you catch your breath and have time, could you please post a report about the interview questions that you were asked? A number of same-sex couples have interviews scheduled over the next couple of months and it would be helpful to know if the questions seem to be varying much from the usual drill.

lili13, the US Consulate in Naples allows petitioners to be there for the interview. My partner and I will also go to the appointment together. I am assuming (Ferricide can tell us both more about it), that the US citizen is also allowed to come to the "counter" for the interview?
