hello all VJ ers!

so i was scheduled for my interview for tomorrow.was so happy that all this was almost behind me.

well ,guess what?!

today around noon ,i received a call from USCIS saying that the interview is resheduled for for JANUARY 31 st ,due to wheather conditions!

well now another wait beginscray5ol.gif !

hope all is for a better reason!

July 29, 2013 : Package sent to Chicago Lockbox.

August 1, 2013 : USPS confirmed package has been delivered.
August 5,2013:got e_mail/text notification for all 3 forms.

August 6,2013:Checks cashed.

August 8, 2013 : NOA received for all three applications.

August 12,2013:Just received biometrics appointment letter in the mail,for Sept.5.

August 21,2013:Biometrics done.

September 03, 2013 : Email/Text notification for I-485, stating that it is in the "Testing and Interview" stage.

September 25,2013:Card production ordered for EAD.

October 3,2013: EAD card mailed.

October 5, 2013: EAD card received

good to see another Case in Salt Lake City, congrats! so I guess it would take about 5 - 6 month from filing to interview in Salt Lake City.

Hello All,

Hopefully this forum is almost closing and everyone is coming to the end of the road, for those who are still waiting the best LUCK! AND TONS of patience.

We've got our interview today I have to say our officer was really nice, she checked all our documentation, but the most important thing was our deed, we bought a house during this period and seems like made the things easy for us, the officer also look the bank statements, and that was all..

Was fast and easy... and to be honest we were in panic, we didn't sleep the night before, husband was very nervious and we are the kind of person who never remember the dates :(

We are very happy, we were approved on the spot, she gave us the welcome letter right there... the green card will be for 2 years as everyone else, we are planning our life together and forever with husband was really hard the waiting process and the adaptation to a new country new culture, we just are happy to be together and grow are family in the future!

Thanks for the support to everyone here!!!! And for the people who developed this website a BIG THANKS!

I am so happy guys - we are finally approved.

It has been a long journey, but there is a light in the tunnel:)

We had our first interview on the 19th of november. It went ok but they were waiting on my background check. After 2 infopasses and one congressional inquiry we got a letter in the mail (on my birthday - it was totally ruined) for a second interview 10 days later.

It was a stoked interview. That was the worst experience of my life - it took 3 hours and a half. We were separated and grilled pretty bad. Honestly, we were so stressed out and tired by the end that when the io said that he was aproaving our case we didn't even react. So glad it is over.

Today got a text -card in production.

Now it's time so celebration :) Cheers.

I'm sad to see your trip was really hard... to be honest we were prepared for the same ... hopefully works ok for us... but we were in panic for a few months :(

Hi I only sent I 485 and I 130. I did not do I 765 and I 131. This is my question will I still get an EAD? Also wat if I need to travel do I hav to apply for I 131. By the way my interview date is nov 10 .

The I 765 is the EAD application so if you didn't file it you won't get an EAD.

We had our interview today! It went so well. It only took an hour. We left the office at 9 am and at 3 pm I got a text message saying we were approved and that the card is in production!!!

YAY!!!!
