July 29, 2013 : Package sent to Chicago Lockbox.

August 1, 2013 : USPS confirmed package has been delivered.
August 5,2013:got e_mail/text notification for all 3 forms.

August 6,2013:Checks cashed.

August 8, 2013 : NOA received for all three applications.

August 12,2013:Just received biometrics appointment letter in the mail,for Sept.5.

August 21,2013:Biometrics done.

September 03, 2013 : Email/Text notification for I-485, stating that it is in the "Testing and Interview" stage.

September 25,2013:Card production ordered for EAD.

October 3,2013: EAD card mailed.

October 5, 2013: EAD card received

November 27th,2013:received text ,e-mail notification for interview date for Jan .3rd

@ X & Z a little update: I just received my green card! With the tracking# I guess USCIS doesn't always update info online.

Happy thanksgiving everyone! I have a lot to be thankful this holiday! :-)

hey guys

congrats to those who have gotten their ap/wp or their gc while i was away. Good new tho. So i travelled to Jamaica for my son birthday on nov15 and came back on nov25 on ap . i traveled thru the jfk airport and i must say it was a breeze i had no problems at all. Also i got my aos appointment date for dec 10 :) i feel so blessed that everything seems to b going so smooth

2013-08-20 (DAY 8) Noa1 received via Text around 11pm, next day was email. Received my case numbers

2013-08-23 (Day 11)- received hard copy in mail for Noa1 gc , Work permit

2013-08-30 (Day 18) Received Biometrics appointment letter in the mail.

2013-09-17 (Day 25) biometrics appointment day @2pm Detriot

2013-09-25 (Day 33) received text and email , I485 changed to testing and interview

2013-10-02 (Day 40) received text message and email @7am about my interview date

2013-10-04 (Day 42) Received hard copy interview letter in the mail

2013-10-10 (Day 48) Work permit Card in production

2013-10-16 (Day 54) 2nd Text and email @830am Work permit in Production

Green Card received 11/27/13. That's super quick I think. Our interview was on Tuesday, Nov 19 and receive the Green Card on Wednesday, Nov 27. The IO said it would be two weeks, but only took 8 days!!!

Just a note that we had our interview last Tuesday, November 26 in NYC. We were in and out of there in about 30 minutes and we were approved. No stamp given, but we were told to expect the card in the mail in two weeks. Questions were very general and they took a few of our photos for their records, so I wouldn't bring anything irreplacable.

Couldn't have done it without this website, thanks everyone!
