Hi! We're in the same situation. We didn't get an approval on the spot because the IO didn't have our I-130 file at the time of our interview. It's been 24 days and counting.

Kindly update me on your progress and I hope we'll get our approval soon!

Mine is also like 3 hrs drive from my home and bit hesitant to schedule an Info pass. I really don't understand why this is taking too long.

Had interview today and federal plaza in NYC.

The interview went smooth and we were there barely 10-15 mins. It was longer to wait to be called than anything else. He said that they would review the case and will try to get it approved by today and that I should get the card within 2 weeks.

Just got notification for case status to card/document production day.

So excited that it is over. For some weird reason, I wasn't even nervous when we got to the interview and more happy about it. We didn't get asked ANY of the questions u hear they normally ask. Only how we met, and the extra evidence we have brought that isn't already on file (Just pictures since we don't have the lease, insurance, or bank accounts together yet) this was a peace of cake.

My advice for everyone would be to be patient and that if your marriage is real, u truly love each other, and investigate well to file the forms yourself (don't trust lawyers unless u have to according to the complication of your case, they might avoid certain things to make the case longer so they can make more money; a friend of mine didn't get asked by the lawyer to take the passport style photos, really?, and another didn't got requested at the beginning to get the medical examination done, which ended up with RFE or over a years of waiting without knowing what aas going on, ridiculous!) you have nothing to worry about. It is a peace of cake.

Thanks. If things don't move soon, I'll get my congressman involved. I doubt there are so many cases going through SLC that it is overloaded. Then again, they may not usually have many cases and therefore only have a few officers. Either way, I have some ideas to help them with their efficiencies. ClockWatch2.gifrofl.gif

Hello all!finally i got my interview date for Ian.3rd!!

July 29, 2013 : Package sent to Chicago Lockbox.

August 1, 2013 : USPS confirmed package has been delivered.
August 5,2013:got e_mail/text notification for all 3 forms.

August 6,2013:Checks cashed.

August 8, 2013 : NOA received for all three applications.

August 12,2013:Just received biometrics appointment letter in the mail,for Sept.5.

August 21,2013:Biometrics done.

September 03, 2013 : Email/Text notification for I-485, stating that it is in the "Testing and Interview" stage.

September 25,2013:Card production ordered for EAD.

October 3,2013: EAD card mailed.

October 5, 2013: EAD card received

November 27th,2013:received text ,e-mail notification for interview date for Jan .3rd

that's considering my GC of course.

I'm still waiting for the tracking number and wondering if they will provide it or not? unsure.png they gave it to me while sending EAD... and GC is wayyy more important document..

How long have you been on Testing and Interview?

Hi,

I got my interview done on Nov' 7th and everything went well except the USCIS been waiting on I 130 receipts at the NVC. The I 130 was approved on Aug 15th and my receipt date was Aug' 13th. I showed them the approval copy (I 797) but still my case is under T&I and awaiting for the approval.

Have you got your interview done? or Awaiting for the interview date?
