Congrats !

Hope you remember me. Mine is still on the same status "Testing & Interview" as the I 130 receipt is pending. I even called USCIS and heard that it is purely the IO decision at the interview or the IO should request for the receipt. Nothing very useful on my call. I am still hoping to hear the CPO sooner.

2013-08-20 (DAY 8) Noa1 received via Text around 11pm, next day was email. Received my case numbers

2013-08-23 (Day 11)- received hard copy in mail for Noa1 gc , Work permit

2013-08-30 (Day 18) Received Biometrics appointment letter in the mail.

2013-09-17 (Day 25) biometrics appointment day @2pm Detriot

2013-09-25 (Day 33) received text and email , I485 changed to testing and interview

2013-10-02 (Day 40) received text message and email @7am about my interview date

2013-10-04 (Day 42) Received hard copy interview letter in the mail

2013-10-10 (Day 48) Work permit Card in production

2013-10-16 (Day 54) 2nd Text and email @830am Work permit in Production

Hey all. I always read but have never posted anything. We also filed my I-485 in August. Aust 23. Got my EAD and had an interview on nov 12. Approved right away, and the IO was very nice. But at the end said that I-130 is missing in his files and he has to request it from whatever it is at this moment.. He said it's going to take approximately 2-3 weeks. Well, we were really happy. But since then I check my status online and for the I-485 is still says "testing and interview" and for my I-130 is still says "initial review".. Did someone have the same experience? Should I call them? Did they just forget about us?:( thanks for any advise!

Hi! We're in the same situation. We didn't get an approval on the spot because the IO didn't have our I-130 file at the time of our interview. It's been 24 days and counting.

Kindly update me on your progress and I hope we'll get our approval soon!

08/20/2013 - Received USCIS Acceptance Confirmation txt and emails.

08/20/2013 - Checks cashed

08/23/2013 - Received 3 NOA's by mail (I-485, I-131, I-765)

08/26/2013 - NOA for Biometrics appointement. Date set for 09/18/2013

08/30/2013 - Succesful walk-in Biometrics

09/11/2013 - I-485 status online changed to "testing & interview"

09/19/2013 - Txt and email notification for interview scheduled on 10/22/2013

09/23/2013 - Received NOA for interview appointment in mail

10/21/2013 - Card production EAD/AP

10/22/2013 - Interview (was not approved on the spot because our I-130 file was not with the uscis local office yet)

10/23/2013 - Received Combo card EAD/AP in mail

02/20/2014 - I-485 status online changed to "card/document production"

I don't know how many Filipinos there are here but the USCIS has announced they will do expedited green card applications...including AOS for Filipinos.

Yes. I am also on the same boat. My interview went very well except the I 130 receipt. Still waiting and counting the days.

Hi guys,

Ive been reading posts on this forum for long time but this is my first post, im also an august filer and i had my interview on the 15th last friday and everything seemed fine the IO just asked basic quistions like DOB how we met and the yes/no quistions the interview didnt take longer than 10 mins and at the end of the interview the the IO had me and my wife sign a paper on how to remove conditions and then she handed me a paper ( im the beneficiary) saying that our case need further review and the IO said i should get the approval in the mail, has anyone had the same situation im getting a lil anxious bc we are planning on visiting my home country in couple months

Id appreciate any help, thanks.

You should get your interview notice any day now. I was also 6 weeks in testing and interview before I received my interview date. I am not sure why Tampa is so slow at scheduling interviews.

07 2003 - Met for first time (while in college).

05 2004 - Moved in together.

07 2007 - Got engaged.

06-26-2013 - DOMA declared unconstitutional. Finally.

08-15-2013 - Married.


08-19-2013 - AOS Package sent to Chicago Lockbox. (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131)

08-21-2013 - Received by USCIS.

You should get your interview notice any day now. I was also 6 weeks in testing and interview before I received my interview date. I am not sure why Tampa is so slow at scheduling interviews.
