Got a notification that my EAD card has been mailed today, but did not get any tracking number with it ... Does it mean I'll get another notification? Has anyone had the same thing happen to them?

08/27/2013 mailed in with Express mail


08/28/2013 received in Chicago


08/31/2013 checks went through


09/03/2013 email and text notifications


09/07/2013 three NOAs received in mail


09/09/2013 biometrics appointment letter received for 09/25/2013


09/11/2013 walk in biometrics done


09/25/2013 email/text notifications of the case status going to "Testing and Interview"


10/26/2013 email/text notifications of the EAD going to production


10/29/2013 email/text notifications of the EAD going to production


11/01/2013 email/text notifications that EAD has been sent (no tracking number tho)

My EAD/AP was mailed today. But I didn't receive any tracking number.

On November 1, 2013, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

They mailed me EAD yesterday, it will be here tomorrow. And I have a tracking number..

I am sure they will change a status soon and give you the tracking number

Experts need your opinion ...

I had my interview yesterday at Detroit office .

Interview was at 10:30 am. We were there by 10 am. IO called us at 11:30 am. She said us to stand and take oath. I was the beneficiary.

She asked our passports, DL and LPR

She asked my I-130 approval notice.

She then asked me my I-94 and my port of entry and If I had any interview with Immigration officer . I said Yes ..

Then she told me that our file looks good ... but didnt receive other file . I.e I-130 file .. and .she said she will request file today and depending on the VISA availability I will get my Green card. So, it might take 2 to 3 months for me to get GC .

She then explained .. Since my husband is LPR .. I might get a 10 yr GC. I dont know .. how far this is correct . ranting33va.gif

I dont know what to do now . Should I contact some attorney or wait for few days .

I am so disappointed.

P.S: My I-130 was approved on Ooct 17th.

I've read it twice and I didnt get it. Why are you disappointed?

I had my interview 3 days ago and they told me to wait 120 days to approve my visa, but they approved it the same day. Thats common situation.

About 2 or 10 years GC - you will know when you get it :)

Hi,

Have you shown the I 130 approval notice to the officer? It won't be a big deal, but it will take little longer for you to get your GC in hand. All GC are 10 yrs validity.

I have my beneficiary interview next week and their I 130 was approved after I filed the AOS, but I sent their approval copy to USCIS as a supplemental and I do have the original with me. Hope it work.

You will get your GC soon, no worries.

Your's is approved on same day .

Hi,

Have you shown the I 130 approval notice to the officer? It won't be a big deal, but it will take little longer for you to get your GC in hand. All GC are 10 yrs validity.

I have my beneficiary interview next week and their I 130 was approved after I filed the AOS, but I sent their approval copy to USCIS as a supplemental and I do have the original with me. Hope it work.

I am sure you will get in changed if not today then in next few days! Don't worry. Immigration officers have this way to get people scared :)

Still waiting for the interview date, 6 weeks and 2 days since "testing and interview".... it's driving me nuts....

Hi! I am actually in the same situation. My I-130 was approved on Oct 18, 2013 and our AOS interview was last Oct 22, 2013. At the time of our interview, the IO didn't have our I-130 file yet. She said that she needs to see our I-130 file before she can approve our case. It's been 10 days and we haven't heard anything still. The other couple from another thread has the same situation. They got an approval within 2 weeks. I guess we need to wait for few more days.

Kindly update me when you get an approval. Thanks!

our interview is in Detroit next week the 5th November,

im hoping they have everything of ours there.

Dont be disappointed sounds like u got approved they just have to wait for the i130

the hard part is all over until you remove conditions

I know that my interview was just on tuesday ... but i am get nervous because my welcome letter didn't arrive yet hahaha

Normally everything they sent me arrived in 2 days here....
