you will need to fill out this

take it to SS office and bring passport and EAD or Green card if u have one.

usually takes 2 weeks - 30 days to receive

they said they would call me to pick it up if i wanted, so i can have it quicker instead of mailing it

I am so happy to see all the positive feedback and outcomes on our application.

Congratulations to those who got their interviews approved and those who got their EAD like me. I am just waiting for my SSN card in the mail now.

Interview is on the 7th November and I am so positive that God will grant me this amazing blessing to be with my husband for the rest of my life.

JuliaMoon... Congratulations! No doubt that's an approved GC. Hope to hear from you again.

To the others, let's just all hang in there. We will get to our goal soon enough.

I didn't get the my GC mailed yet. but i expect the GC get soon !

and I applied SSN oct.22 than i got the SSN yesterday.

I know i have to go to SSC again for the update anyway i can renew my DL :)

07 2007 - Got engaged.

06-26-2013 - DOMA declared unconstitutional. Finally.

08-15-2013 - Married.


08-19-2013 - AOS Package sent to Chicago Lockbox. (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131)

08-21-2013 - Received by USCIS.

08-26-2013 - USCIS Acceptance Confirmation via email and text message for I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131.

08-27-2013 - Checks cashed

08-28-2013 - 5 letters from USCIS in mailbox. I797C for I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131 and biometrics appointment notice (for 09-17-2013).

I've been in "testing & interview" for almost 6 weeks as well, same date as you actually. Some offices are a lot busier than others, so we have to be patient :)

09/05/2013 (37 days)- Received online notifications of I-485 application changed to Testing & Interview

09/25/2013 (57 days)- AED in production

10/07/2013 (68 days)- AED in my hands

10/11/2013 (72 days) received Interview date on Nov 18 2013.

Mine did the same thing. It looks like it is normal. I have read other people's timeline and everyone got 2 notifications like we did ... So, the next one should be about the card getting mailed :)

I would like to know about the experience of people who had the interview yesterday please.

I posted it earlier.

Our IO was a very friendly lady and she barely asked us any questions. Only how we met, our address and phone number. It was about 30-40 mins and we were just casually talking. She told me in the beginning of the interview that she can't approve me today, because they messed up with my visas (I had K-1 to my husband before, but I came back home and got F-1).

She explained me how to get a new GC in 2 years and said that we will be approved within 30 days.
