Another step... Yesterday (October 28) I Received Text Message and E-Mail about My EAD Card (I-765): "We Ordered Production of your new card...". The status Changed from "Initial Review" to "Card/Document Production".

I also got a message about the Advanced Parole: "On October 28, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT.". The status Changed from "Initial Review" to "Post Decision Activity".

So, it is likely that I will receive the Combined EAD and AP Card soon... Waiting Anxiously for the Interview on NOVEMBER 15.

UPDATED Timeline:

July 2013 - Married in California.
May 30 - Sent Adjustment of Status Request from H1B to F1 (I-539).
May 31 - H1B Expired.

August 27, 2013 - Sent I-130, I-131, I-485 and I-765.
August 29, 2013 - Received Notices about concurrent filling of I-130, I-131, I-485 and I-765.

September 4, 2013 - Received Biometrics Appointment Notice (for I-485 and I-765).
September 23, 2013 - Biometrics Appointment Done (in Fort Worth).

October 1, 2013 - Received Text Message (and e-mail a day after) about I-485 case status change from Initial Review to Testing and Interview.

October 18, 2013 - Received Letter (U.S. Mail) confirming appointment for the Interview set for November 15 in Dallas (Irving).

October 22, 2013 - After a five month wait (due to big delays at the Vermont Center) my Change of Status (from H1 to F1) was APPROVED (Received Text Message and E-Mail). As of October 29, I have not yet received the actual Approval Letter, which is needed by the University to let me go back to work (part time).

October 28, 2013 - Received Text Message and E-Mail about Document Production for EAD Card and AP = Approved (I-765 & I-131).

Waiting:
- EAD Card Delivery (also AP). Waiting on the Card/Tracking Info and shipping Details via Mail Carrier.
- AOS Interview (and approval) - Scheduled for November 15.

My spouse and I hv bn married for 3+ years now. Should we expect permanent or temp GC

From what I've read here, if you've been married for more than 2 years they can grant you a permanent GC.

Okay, my turn!

Our interview went well (about 30-40 mins). But 5 mins after we started our officer told us that she can't approve me today, because they messed up with my documents (I had K-1 visa to my husband last year but I came back home and didnt get married, and then I came back with F-1 visa). But she told me that we had to have an interview anyway. So we talked for 30 more mins and she was super nice. So in the end she told me that they will review my case again and approve me within 30 days. And my case status is still Testing and Interview

questions were:

1. Where did you meet each other

2. Your address

3. Your phone number

And basically thats it. She asked me to explain why did I leave last year and didnt get married.

Asked only for joint documents. We had lease and bank account.

So I am a little bit upset. I know they made a mistake and they will approve me anyway, but it is just sad to wait again sad.png

Hi everybody!

I had my interview in SF office at this morning and received a letter telling that my case needs further review.

But now after 2 hours from the interview I just receive a text msg telling that my card is on production!

They told me that I will be held for review as well :( But they told me that it'll take 30 days((((

you will need to fill out this

take it to SS office and bring passport and EAD or Green card if u have one.

usually takes 2 weeks - 30 days to receive

they said they would call me to pick it up if i wanted, so i can have it quicker instead of mailing it

In my case she said I will receive an answer in 120 from today, but I already received the msg.

also my status was card and production, but then right now went back to decision. Is this normal?
