02/06/2014 - Interview (had to go back to civil surgeon to re-do paperwork and make sure this time he signs it. Took care of it that very same day and dropped it off at the USCIS office the following morning.
02/14/2014 - Green card received!!!

Got the 4 hard copy confirmation letters, but no biometrics appointment yet.

I'm surprised that my alien number got changed though, has anyone noticed that on your notices?

Where did you see it change? Do you mean it is different between the different notices you received (I131, 765 and 485)?

The 131,485,765 notices have a different A number than the one I already had and put into each form / evidnece when we sent in the package.

I had an alien number prior to applying for AOS since I was an F-1 student on OPT. I was also assigned a new alien number after filing for AOS.

7/30/2013 AOS package (I-130, I-485, I-131, and I-765) sent via UPS

8/1/2013 delivery confimation from UPS, signed for

8/6/2013 E-mail/txt notifications (x4) all forms have been transferred to NBC

It is common that the A number changes when you do AOS. Very rarely do they maintain the A number given you when you do the OPT. However, this A number will remain with you for the duration. It is like your social security number now.

I did the walk in biometrics today. The place was empty, took 10 minutes. They did insist to next time come when sheduled or call the number on the notice to reschedule.

btw, does anyone use trackitt or ***removed***/tracker/i-485-tracker?
