08/8/2013 - Delivered to USCIS Chicago
08/12/2013- Received txt and e-mail from USCIS for I-485, I-130, I-765
08/12/2013- Checks cashed
08/14/2013- Received hard copy receipt for 3 NOA's by mail (I-485, I-130, I-765)
08/19/2013- Received hard copy Biometrics appointment by mail (Date for 9/4/2013)

08/27/2013- Successful walk in Biometrics
09/14/2013 - i-485 status online changed to "testing & interview"(didn't get the email and txt)
09/19/2013- Received hard copy for interview appointment on "10/22/2013" Los angeles (didn't get the email and txt. so i sign up the uscis site)

10/2/2013- Received txt and e-mail for EAD status online changed to "card production"

10/7/2013-Received txt and e-mail for EAD status online changed to "card production" AGAIN!

10/10/2013-Received txt and e-mail for EAD mailed today also status updated w/tracking number.(Priority Mail 2-Day)

10/12/2013-EAD card scheduled delivery date (received 3:45 pm)

10/22/2013- Interview smile.png 1:30 pm (approved!!!!)

10/22/2013- Received txt and e-mail for 1-485 Card/Production i-485 (4:00 pm)

10/23/2013- Received txt and E-mail for i-130 approved/ i-485 states changed to Decision.

10/24/2013- Received txt and e-mail for 1-485(*green card) states changed to card/prodution

10/30/2013- Received txt ad E-mail for GC mailed w/ tracking number (USPS priority 2-day)

I have my AOS Interview next thrusday and my I-130 is still not approved. I filed my I-130 on July 16th 2013. Yesterday , I-130 status changed to

Initial Review

On October 17, 2013, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.

Is this something common. Should I be worried.

PS: I am on H1 b and my husband is LPR.

Please, advise .

It's nothing to worry about. My I130 went from approved to the same stage as yours. It looks like a lot of people hit the same stage as you did. It should soon get approved. Even if it doesn't get approved before your interview, it will get approved after.

My I 130 status is the same as yours but my AOS was approved. Don't worry about it and just go for your interview! Good luck!

Hi, I think you may expect the i130 approval notice in mail soon.

The same thing happened to me. I recieved the approval letter in mail an the next day when I checked my status, I got the same message. When I called USCIS about this, they said that there is a computer glitch that displays this status.

So, if I were you, I would just wait for a day or two to get my approval letter in mail. smile.png

How do I know if my i130 was approved and when should it be approved? My I130 shows as "Initial Review" on the website.

I'm confused.

Same here! I just want it to be over with ... My I-485 has been in testing and interview since 09/25 ... and everything else is in initial review ... waiting game is the worst! :(

23-Aug Forms Submitted to USCIS.

12-Sept Notification from USCIS

02-Oct Fingerpringt Appointment, done.

Right now my status online appears as:

- Last update: 09-04-2013

- Form Number I-765

- Form name: APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

After fingerprints I didnt receive any notifications.

Is there someone in this blog who already receive something who filed around my submitted date?

I couldn't find people applying trhough Tampa Office... will see... hopefully is soon..

check the "processing times" tab above, and select the tampa office. The info is acouple of months out of date, but gives a rough time estimate.

Just hang in there it should be coming soon. It took me about a month to receive my appointment notice too. In the meantime, just take tips from everyone else's experience so you'll be prepared when your day comes.
