Can you ask your apartment manager for a letter that says that your husband and you share the apartment maybe?

I have heard of people taking affidavits from their landlords/next door neighbors confirming that they share the apartment.

You don't have joint accounts because you don't have your SSN is understandable. Usually, you can make changes to Health Insurance in the middle of the year if there has been a life changing event (like getting married). If it is not possible, there isn't much you can do about it smile.png

You should take lots of pictures of the two of you together with each other's family, friends etc. Someone recently stated that they are more interested to see pictures of your families with you.

Also take receipts and tickets for any trips that you took together and things like wedding rings/bands purchase etc.

What visa are you adjusting from? I read that they usually do not demand much evidence if you are adjusting from K1 as you already prove an intention to get married before you enter the US.

Just don't worry smile.png First, they will understand, that you just got married and you can`t have a lot of things. My friend got her GC without any insurance, lease or else. She only had bunch of pics from the wedding and with family.

Just tell the officer that because of the paperwork you just couldn't get more than you have.

Hello everybody!

I am gathering the documents for the interview next Tuesday. Am I missing something?

We don't have pics from the wedding as we just did the court house.

- Original + Copy of Marriage certificate

- Original + Copy of my Birth certificate

- Original + Copy of my Passport Biography page

- Original + Copy of my passport Visa page

- Copy of I94

- Original + Copy of last 3 Phone Bill showing the family plan

- Original + Copy of Health Insurance letter showing me as his dependent

- Original + Copy of Rental Lease in both of our names

- Original + Copy of Property Management Letter in both of our names

- Original + Copy of Credit Card Statments showing me as his authorized user

- Original + Copy of Rental Insurance showing both of our names

- Original + Copy of Life Insurance letter showing me as beneficiary

- 2 Letters in my name showing our address

- Letter from SS showing my name and address

- 2 Wedding Cards that we receive

- 1 Letter from his mom showing both of our names in the same address

- Copy of Tickets to Wisconsin to visit his mother

- Copy of Tickets to Las Vegas

- Copy of Hotel reservation in Las Vegas

- Letter from the bank showing our joint saving account and our individually checking account

- Approx 100 photos since we met till now

- Copy of last tax return (Sponsor and Co-sponsor - We already sent it in the package)

- Last 3 pay stubs (Sponsor and Co-sponsor - We already sent it in the package)

- Letter from the company (Sponsor and Co-sponsor - We already sent it in the package)

- Copy of Birth Certificate (Sponsor and Co-sponsor - We already sent it in the package)

Hi,

I would recommend the following things as well:

Drivers License for both of you. This was the first thing the examiner asked us.

Ofcourse, the Interview notice.

Green Card/Naturalization certificate/BC of your spouse

Please do not forget the translations of any foreign language certificates.

Otherwise, I think you are good to go. smile.png

I don't have DL yet, I will bring my passport.

My husband is USC so I will bring the passport and the Birth Certificate.

I have the Translation for my birth certificate....

I don't know but I think I am missing something, maybe is just because i am too nervous.
