Guys..

I just preparing the papers for interview.

What we have.... join name for car insurance and phone bills that's it..

I tried add my husband name on my rent contract (he move in my apt)that apt company said they can't add my husbands name on there.

So i asked manager what about renew the 1more year(my rent going to monthly for 1years from now..) so i can add his name on my rent contract she said we only accept monthly.

And i tried add my name on his health insurance that possible to add my name on next feb,Also we can't make joint account because i don't have SSN.(I was think about joint back account when i get the EAD card as soon as possible to make SSN but who knows... gv shut down)

So what i do I just print out the health insurance company policy.

What we can do....next...?

If officer ask us why we dont have much? what is good for the answer...?

Can you ask your apartment manager for a letter that says that your husband and you share the apartment maybe?

I have heard of people taking affidavits from their landlords/next door neighbors confirming that they share the apartment.

You don't have joint accounts because you don't have your SSN is understandable. Usually, you can make changes to Health Insurance in the middle of the year if there has been a life changing event (like getting married). If it is not possible, there isn't much you can do about it :)

You should take lots of pictures of the two of you together with each other's family, friends etc. Someone recently stated that they are more interested to see pictures of your families with you.

Also take receipts and tickets for any trips that you took together and things like wedding rings/bands purchase etc.

What visa are you adjusting from? I read that they usually do not demand much evidence if you are adjusting from K1 as you already prove an intention to get married before you enter the US.

Congratulations everyone getting their Green Cards approved and those getting their interview dates!!

My EAD/AP application updated today. It says it has been sent out today. There isn't any USPS tracking number yet. I don't think there's any way for me to get it before my interview which is on Monday morning :-)

Got tracking # on friday afternoon 10/04 and received EAD on saturday afternoon 10/05..

I went to the interview 10/07 with the EAD but the IO did not take my EAD or my i-94 for that matter.. so no worries..

Just don't worry smile.png First, they will understand, that you just got married and you can`t have a lot of things. My friend got her GC without any insurance, lease or else. She only had bunch of pics from the wedding and with family.

Just tell the officer that because of the paperwork you just couldn't get more than you have.

We have received the Interview Letter!!!

This is my Timeline:

July 2013 Married in California.

May 30 Sent Adjustment of Status Request from H1B to F1 (I-539).

May 31 H1B Expired.

August 27, 2013 Sent I-130, I-131, I-485 and I-765).

August 29, 2013 Received Notices about concurrent filling of I-130, I-131, I-485 and I-765.

September 4, 2013 Received Biometrics Appointment Notice (for I-485 and I-765).

September 23, 2013 Biometrics Appointment Done (in Fort Worth).

October 1, 2013 Received Text Message (and e-mail a day after) about I-485 case status change from Initial Review to Testing and Interview.

October 18, 2013 - Received Letter (U.S. Mail) confirming appointment for the Interview set for November 15 in Dallas.

Waiting:

- Change of Status from H1B to F1 (Still waiting due to Delays at the Vermont Center).

- EAD Document Production (also Advance Parole, but dont plan on using it).

- AOS Interview (and approval).

August 12,2013:Just received biometrics appointment letter in the mail,for Sept.5.

August 21,2013:Biometrics done.

September 03, 2013 : Email/Text notification for I-485, stating that it is in the "Testing and Interview" stage.

September 25,2013:Card production ordered for EAD.

October 3,2013: EAD card mailed.

October 5, 2013: EAD card received

November 27th,2013:received text ,e-mail notification for interview date for Jan .3rd
