We went in today and succesfully completed the Biometrics via walk-in. It was simple. Not a single question asked of us regarding why we came in early. We were in and out in less than half an hour.

Hopefully they will complete our case before the end of this fiscal year. Fingers crossed.

Great to hear so many stories about successful walk-ins. But I have heard that it does not help much with the processing. I have been following other threads for Apr-Jun Filers and timelines of people who did walk-ins is no different than those who did not.I guess USCIS would already have a schedule to stick to.

I am not planning to do a walk-in. It would be interesting to see if that affects my application processing time.

We are filing from Greensboro. We completed a successful walk-in this morning at the Raleigh/Durham field office. It took about 1 hour and 15mins. They didn't ask any questions regarding why we didn't wait until our appointment date.
