10/02/2013 - Received the date of our interview online Nov. 7, 2013

10/07/2013 - I-765 status updated to "Card/Document Production"


10/15/2013 - Status updated: EA Card has been mailed and tracking number was given.

I am married for almost 6 years and have two kids.





I arrived 45 mins earlier and there were only two couples ahead of me. I was a bit embarassed to find that i was the only one to carry so much of documents with me. After my name was called, we went under the oath and IO started to shoot questions about my entry and took a copy of the I-94. She started asking questions from G-325 and ticking off the questions that she asked on the form. Then the "Have YOU ever..." questions from I-485.. Then she asked for my H1B Doc that we had provided during the filing which i gave her. I also told her that i changed employers after we applied for I-485 and handed her the latest H1B doc and I-94 attached to it.


It was just 10 mins since we started then she said that once the visa is available, she will approve the case and that the green card will be in the mail in 30 days.

I received a text before i reached home that card was in production and later on in the evening changed to "Decision".
