hello All!

got update today that the EAD card has been mailed!:)

July 29, 2013 : Package sent to Chicago Lockbox.

August 1, 2013 : USPS confirmed package has been delivered.
August 5,2013:got e_mail/text notification for all 3 forms.

August 6,2013:Checks cashed.

August 8, 2013 : NOA received for all three applications.

August 12,2013:Just received biometrics appointment letter in the mail,for Sept.5.

August 21,2013:Biometrics done.

September 03, 2013 : Email/Text notification for I-485, stating that it is in the "Testing and Interview" stage.

September 25,2013:Card production ordered for EAD.

October 3,2013: EAD card mailed.

October 5, 2013: EAD card received

November 27th,2013:received text ,e-mail notification for interview date for Jan .3rd

Time will fly, you have to wait only one more month :) I am reading a lot and now taking free DMV tests - getting ready to get my DL :)

thanx,no i haven t got it yet,but considering that NYC offices are really busy ,i guess i have another 1-2 month till i get an interview date.

The weird thing is that I am living in NYC, but it seems that my local office is the National Benefits Center in Lee's Summit, MO. At least that's what it says on my NOA

I got my case moved in (!!!) 3 weeks after biometrics :(

I did an early walk-in for my biometrics too and so as the others and TRUST ME... It didn't expedited any of our application. I think USCIS are being fair on the that. At least we all have close timelines. Look at our timelines on our signature, I got an email about the Interview after my actual Biometric Sched.

Yes DJ and Yna. You are right. Early walk-in does not speed up the process.

I would say that one should use this privilege only if it is not possible to attend on the scheduled date.

I and another friend of mine had the bio-metrics scheduled for the same date. He did an early walkin. I still received an interview date and EAD earlier than him.

I can pose as Mansarjai's friend who shares a VERY similar timeline but I still haven't got my EAD and I got the interview after him even though I did an early walk-in :-)

But sometimes, some people have had their process speed up after they did an early walk-in. Hold on and wait :) Things will move!
