I received e-mail/txt for my EAD card production now :)

I have to renew my DL that exp going soon...Hopefully i get the card soon!

08/2/2013 - AOS packet sent mail (I-485, I-130, I-765)
08/8/2013 - Delivered to USCIS Chicago
08/12/2013- Received txt and e-mail from USCIS for I-485, I-130, I-765
08/12/2013- Checks cashed
08/14/2013- Received hard copy receipt for 3 NOA's by mail (I-485, I-130, I-765)
08/19/2013- Received hard copy Biometrics appointment by mail (Date for 9/4/2013)

08/27/2013- Successful walk in Biometrics
09/14/2013 - i-485 status online changed to "testing & interview"(didn't get the email and txt)
09/19/2013- Received hard copy for interview appointment on "10/22/2013" Los angeles (didn't get the email and txt. so i sign up the uscis site)

10/2/2013- Received txt and e-mail for EAD status online changed to "card production"

10/7/2013-Received txt and e-mail for EAD status online changed to "card production" AGAIN!

10/10/2013-Received txt and e-mail for EAD mailed today also status updated w/tracking number.(Priority Mail 2-Day)

10/12/2013-EAD card scheduled delivery date (received 3:45 pm)

Update! i also received at text at 7am

Interview date November 5th , coincidentally the day i arrived 2 years ago! wow

Testing and Interview

On October 2, 2013, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for November 5, 2013. Please follow the instructions on the notice. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

And mine is on the 7th November! We still have lots of time to prepare. Yippee!

Ideally yes and most people do get an email/text before the letter but sometimes the online status does not update and you just get the letter in mail. Edited by ramu2012

We didn't get texts or emails when our status changed to 'Testing and Interview" and didn't get anything when they gave us a date of our interview. But they supposed to do that, because when I got my NOA, they sent me texts.

So, what I did - I checked status online every day. Good luck with your waiting! Check it online.

We didn't get texts or emails when our status changed to 'Testing and Interview" and didn't get anything when they gave us a date of our interview. But they supposed to do that, because when I got my NOA, they sent me texts.

So, what I did - I checked status online every day. Good luck with your waiting! Check it online.

You should receive a email/text update for the interview date. I got one for when it changed to testing and interview and when they told me the interview date and that they sent the hardcopy

We didn't get texts or emails when our status changed to 'Testing and Interview" and didn't get anything when they gave us a date of our interview. But they supposed to do that, because when I got my NOA, they sent me texts.

I was wondering what was up with that. I also signed up for e-Notification and got my NOAs via email and text, but when my status changed to "Testing and Interview" I got nothing. I suppose I will get nothing when my interview is scheduled too. Welp, checking every day it is.

You should receive a email/text update for the interview date. I got one for when it changed to testing and interview and when they told me the interview date and that they sent the hardcopy
